Fun fact: Base battles wasn’t so pay to win when beluga owned it but when voldex bought it they added like 20 game passes and ruined the whole game

I remember playing base battles and there was not alot of gamepasses but a guy then bought the game and ruined it by putting lots of gamepasses. The game was fun before but a guy ruined it
From a RAYS! developer, I would've liked you to have gone more into depth on why the game feels like it cut corners and what exact aspects so we can go back and at least try to fix it to where it would be at the right standards. The aiming might feel like it snaps but it's because your shooting is 100% accurate at all times unless it has a scope (so it feels more like CS:GO) and the animations we just wanted to get and are actively working on finding someone to make us cleaner and smoother animations. We know the game is very simple and are working towards making it less tedious and of a grind to play the game by adding as many guns as we can into the next season to have more cheaper options for guns. We are only a 2 dev team and the programmer works on Case Clicker and Fame City as well as RAYS! so it is harder for us to push any updates out. Hope that clears anything up and please go more in depth in any feedback you give, we would appreciate it.

rays is actually fun but the damage drop offs are terrible so you probably want to buy high damage guns eg. fal,aug or any marksman/sniper-i bought the pp19 bizon because of it's 64 round capacity.also the grinding is just painful like phantom forces,frontlines,rolling thunder and many fps games in general
From a Dev of the game, I haven't had anybody say that until now but I do agree with you and I'll look into the range of the guns being fixed as well as we're adding more guns so we can make credits easier to obtain and still have it take the same amount of time to get all of the guns in the game. Thank you for the feedback.

For the Base Battles part:
-Weapon crate is P2W, however this is going to always be a thing in games. As of now, the intended gameplay is close to F2P as a lot of overpowered weapons were nerfed in vehicle damage, thus anti-air was via railgun or sniper.
-Daily Wheel I will admit is quite ridiculous, the rarest weapon given to the new player has more output on players than a lot of endgame weapons besides Plasma Blaster. If you were to receive this reward twice, you would earn 25M. I was unnecessarily lucky and got it four times between three in the main game and one during a QA session.
-VIP is not exactly P2W. You do earn more XP and tokens, while obtaining a vehicle that you will almost never use but a lot assume it is because you have a chat crown emoji. The problem with this is just you have no reason to use the vehicle, so you're mainly buying it for the bonus rewards.
-Drake, the dragon, created a massive conflict in the Discord server that made it undergo a massive nerf day one of the release, until it got reverted 2 days later. This also occurred on the normal dragon. As of today it still changes the outcome of a match, the only condition is if you don't own the counters to it which is as said railgun or sniper. Noobs don't have the counter to it, but it is quite rare to see a dragon unless someone is losing.
-Lavagun use to be powerful but prior to the flame tick nerf it is actually a inconvenience and not a threat. One person that I know swears by it being a really good weapon, but in the meta I don't really buy it anymore.
-Barrett is quite fine but the amount of people who owns this makes a lot of matches feel like hide and seek than a actual battle.
-Boombow use to be the top meta alongside its worst cousin the ICB (Ice Crown Bow). Once both got nerfed, they became immediately obsolete. ICB still retained its use for taking down people behind walls or on roofs due to the massive AOE.
now core wise:
-Planes are ridiculous because noobs abuse the starter planes. From experience I had to deal with bombers using flares and AWP, then camping on a tree or rooftop. It's a horrible representation on getting kills, because if you were to eliminate them from being able to repeat this, it would stop them from playing.
--On top of that a lot of the planes that required skill were nerfed in favor of making Thunderbolt more for ground than the rest until a fix came for the ZE-Wing to gain ground and air capabilities.
-The images are to encourage play. So what if it is not accurate to the main game, as long it's content players can obtain then there's no error. Perhaps in the case of what is portrayed, via infantry exiting a cargo truck, or the large explosions on Pirate Cove. It's quality to grab clicks, though I will agree there should be like 3 thumbnails to show the major factors of gameplay.
Prior to what it is now, it use to be much more worse. It was not even F2P. You had to own a good primary and secondary to face the massive vehicle meta, or the insanely powerful PVP weapons before they were nerfed. Nonetheless, as of today I love the game. Only reason I share a dislike is the beginner choices- it feels more centered to just tree or rooftop camping than to be more of a ground player.

i get what your saying about most the games but with the pay wall stuff you could also say the same about phantom forces or bad business they both require an insane amount of grinding to get good guns and is very difficult for noobies etc
Not really, the default guns in Phantom Forces are really good. AK12, Colt lmg, M4A1, heck even the intervention are all incredible guns that you get at rank 0. Credits aren't that bad to get you can simply sell skin you don't want. Plus since the ttk is so fast no gun is clearly bad (except a couple exception). Like you aren't really at a disadvantage in a gun fight between an AK 12 and an HK416. And it is Normal for new players to struggle, it's part of the learning process. All of the Roblox fps have it, heck even all fps that doesn't have skill based matchmaking. It's totally normal that you struggle on your first game of call of duty. Overall I think it's not fair to compare the games showed there with phantom forces.
