The structural perfection of the entire presentation - raga alapana, the tempo, and above all, the archetectonics of the svara structure - what more does one require to approach perfection!!! No wonder he was considered the best of teachers.
My personal grading system of music is, that made me hand gestures of taala, made me dance to its tune/ svara vinyasa, made me sing along, that touched my heart & made joyful and that lingers on in my mind & makes me to listen to it again & again. This rendition by late Vidwan Chembai Bhagavatar does all of that and is perfect. My humble pranams to Chembai Swami & accompanists ( who were as perfect as Chembai).
