'Certain people were born with the internet inside them' explains EVERYTHING

It took me 38 minutes of being utterly absorbed in the video before I noticed that she's holding a smartphone AND a tablet.
But what I really want to say is that this was brilliant beyond words. I'm a zellennial, and I feel like lyrical absurdist comedy about how being an Internet native is messing with our heads (in largely mysterious ways) is exactly what I needed right now. I worry that the Portal, as it is today, breeds feelings of meaninglessness, loneliness, disillusionment and existential angst on a large scale, very akin to depression. I don't think that's inherent to the internet though. I believe that "real world issues" like neo-capitalism, bigotry and lack of compassion+empathy are the root causes, and the internet is a place where they can proliferate.

Hey, what’s the context of her tearing up at the beginning? Is the preamble available anywhere?
