Letting that old lady tell her stories and hug that rhino was so sweet of you. She just loved relieving those memories. And I know she is enjoying talking to you.
What a liar. Those wood animals can be ordered from Indian for less than $2. She ‘s asking for five. They are not old at all. In India, you can get many items cheap.
That lady with all the trinkets was great. You can tell she and her family members are well travelled. She had a story behind all the items in her collection. Very cool
That last lady was to cute. I love how she hugged the items you was wanting to purchase. It must have been hard for her to sell her collection. She seemed young at heart, hard to believe she was almost 80.
Happy to see you with Papa Picker when in Cali! ( : Ohhhh, the lady in the purple shirt was sooo sweet and well traveled! She lived sooo many cool places! What an amazing wonderful life she has lived too! ( :
“Should I write it down”? Matt you are priceless. I can’t believe she threw that sweatshirt at you. What a trip. I hope you went back the next day! Great to see dad!
OMG Matt! How do you keep a straight face with some of these people? Very nice lady. A minimalist collector?? Man I’m amazed she sold her items since she had a story for each one.
That lady was so sweet. She had a story for every item, but knew she was ready to part with it. It can be so difficult letting go. Ugh I want that brass boot💗
This lady hit the reselling nail on the head! "They're only worth what people will pay." I say this ALL THE TIME and people don't seem to get it. I see people on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace selling items for WAY more than they're worth all the time. Sometimes I'll shoot them a message and suggest they do some research on eBay to get a better idea of what they're selling. A lot of people will respond "I know what I have!" Ok, well you're going to have it for a long time! It's like art. If a piece of art is valued at a million bucks and then sells for 5 million, that art is now worth 5 million, because that's what someone was willing to pay for it. If they go to resell it, the starting price would now be 5 million. That's reselling 101.
Hi Matt! You certainly have learned a lot from Kayla. Congratulations! I’m so glad to see you at GS rather than the flea markets. The lady in the purple tee shirt was so sweet. I felt her reliving each memory as she was talking to you. Bless her heart. You are very patient with all the sellers. A true gem for sure!
She is the cutest thing(older lady in purple)! I could hang with her all day😊🫶🏼 Matt you gotta go back to her. We need a part 2! You need to introduce Kayla to her!
Me and the lads get together once a week and we will watch any new videos from you, chill out smoking the good stuff. When the beat drops at the end of the video, mate we go NUTS and start breakdancing in the lounge. It's such a bop never change it, shoutout from the UK
I made those stuffed Christmas trees for gifts early in my married years when we didn't have lots of money to buy gifts for everyone. I probably made 10-15 of them around 1980.
I thought those were Harmony Kingdom, but had never seen those pot belly ones before! Loved your reaction on the glass flowers, “Oh! Mount Shasta!” You are just the sweetest!
I saw you in the wild this past weekend Matt!I was going to say Hi but you and your Dad were leaving a garage sale and getting in the car. It made my day!
some good sales and buys, our sales are basically over for the year, glad I have a weekly auction to go to and make videos for, thanks for sharing matt
The lady's laugh at 04:10 was creepy! 😱 and I thought it was kind of weird that they went from $175 down to FIFTY! Sounds to me like they knew EXACTLY what they were trying to sell you for $175. 🤔How very strange. SMH But, you got a heck of a deal. Hopefully it won't cost too much to repair the top Ovations are awesome guitars!
It really isn’t that hard to parallel park, you just need to be taught right. Go to an open parking lot ( like a school). Set up two markers (cones), place them one in front and one in back, the length apart as if it were where you want to park. Slowly pull forward as if there is a parked car in front of the space you are going to park in. Act like you are pulling up along side of a vehicle. Stop! Put your vehicle in reverse. With your foot on the break crank your wheels almost all the way and slowly back into the spot while slowly uncranking your wheels to straighten them out. If you are back to far… just pull forward with your wheels straight. WaaaLaaa… you did it! Practice several times…. Practice makes perfect
The lady at the yard sale was so cool. She explained ever item...where they came from and who bought them and for whom they were for. Life story on them. Interesting for sure! Thanks for sharing your day!
Hey Matt that was a great sale you went to. That lady was so sweet everything you picked up she knew where it came from. I hope you were able to go back the next day she had really nice things
A good quality sale ❤many family products 👌 she was sad to let go . Thanks fir sharing 👍 glad you found some nice priced items ❤. Greetings from England 🇬🇧 Simon and Beth ❤❤❤
Great video Matt. That great lady at that last sale was so awesome. A story for each item. Great prices. She was so sweet and generous. U can have it she said. I hope u went back the next day. Im sure she had more great items. U didnt even have to negotiate prices with her. I hope she has the best move ever. Im sure she is loved by many. ❤️💯💯💯
I hope you both go back the next day… imagine the deals you’ll get! You’ve made a friend and I think she enjoyed sharing her “life stories” with you guys. You both were so patient and sweet with her. Love watching your videos. Dad you raised a wonderful son…you did good, and you two are genuine buddies! The love shines through👍
I love that everything you listed are "vintage" pretty much. A sweater, vintage. Old != vintage and "vintage" on certain items has a year designation for things like cars for example. A plush handmade christmas tree is not "vintage" if you don't know the year.
Omg Matt when u went for the pick to that guitar I though no way he can play it and I be darn u did the more I watch you the more I love you 😂😂 you are just a awesome dude! ❤❤❤❤ Thanku for ur video’s ❤
Letting that old lady tell her stories and hug that rhino was so sweet of you. She just loved relieving those memories. And I know she is enjoying talking to you.
The lady in the purple T-shirt was just so sweet and honest. She was hugging all the items before she sold them 🥰
She has/had beautiful things. Love those vintage items
Her “isn’t it great?” phrase she said multiple times was adorable 😂
Guys she sees with her hands , she tells him she has macular degeneration, meaning shes near blind.
She is a pain in the ass!!! Taking things right out of there hands.
The lady seller well travelled was a gem. She enjoyed making buyers happy with great prices. Best wishes to her in her move.
What a liar. Those wood animals can be ordered from Indian for less than $2. She ‘s asking for five. They are not old at all. In India, you can get many items cheap.

@@WT1wL awww is someone looking for attention cos they can't handle nice things being said about other people 😭
What a sweet, generous lady, such a pleasure to see people like her. I wish her only the best ❤❤❤
That's awesome that the lady from the second sale knew the story behind every piece...that makes it worth it😊
Matt you are so patient and respectful to everyone ❤️
That last lady was to cute. I love how she hugged the items you was wanting to purchase. It must have been hard for her to sell her collection. She seemed young at heart, hard to believe she was almost 80.
Matt is the best garage sale negotiator on youtube, walking that fine line like a true professional.
Oh for sure! Im usually a true crime junky. Matt and Kayla are they only resalers i watch on RUclips 😅
Kayla should be sooo proud of how your knowledge base has evolved! Great finds!!!
That lady really liked Matt! I bet he reminded him of her son, that’s why she kept giving him things! So cute!
That second lady was a treasure and going down memory lane with every item. I had to feel for her.
I love how polite you are Matt ❤❤
That sweet lady with the pot bellies. Precious personality. Hope you get great deals the next day.

Happy to see you with Papa Picker when in Cali! ( : Ohhhh, the lady in the purple shirt was sooo sweet and well traveled! She lived sooo many cool places! What an amazing wonderful life she has lived too! ( :

Thanks for watching!
OMG Matt! How do you keep a straight face with some of these people? Very nice lady. A minimalist collector?? Man I’m amazed she sold her items since she had a story for each one.
I love the father and son thrifting. I took my Dad to G-sales 30 some years ago👍💓 Thanks for the memories.
That lady at the second sale was so quirky, I loved her! You got some great deals there too!
I love seeing you and your Dad together
That lady was so sweet. She had a story for every item, but knew she was ready to part with it. It can be so difficult letting go.
Ugh I want that brass boot💗
Awesome finds and that lady is so beautiful she knows the story behind every single item ❤❤ I love ❤️😘 your videos with your father and Kayla ❤🎉❤🎉🎉
Bless that sweet lady she had a story for all the things you bought and giving you things for free❤

that’s because people are shown how to search solds on ebay you can’t blame them they just see asking prices and assume that’s what they will get
@@mycrazylife408 I believe most who are not E Bay sellers search "asking prices" and not sold comps🙃.
Bless her heart, what a sweet lady on that last sale

Matt you are something else...bargain... bargain...bargain you know how to do it. BUT this time it was easy...she just gave it to you. 😊❤
Great video! Your dad is a great partner!! He's got awesome skills of his own!!❤️
Your so kind, thanks for watching!
Me and the lads get together once a week and we will watch any new videos from you, chill out smoking the good stuff. When the beat drops at the end of the video, mate we go NUTS and start breakdancing in the lounge. It's such a bop never change it, shoutout from the UK

Hello back at ya, thanks for watching!
Matt, you picked some awesome stuff from that nice older lady. She was a sweetheart.🌞😀
I heard the lady give him a $150 price. Then I seen him give her $50. Wonder if she figured out he shorted her $100? Heck of a steal
That second lady would drive me mad
I hate having to ask people what the price is on items!! Come on ppl get organized and price your stuff out before the sale😂😂
I really don’t care.
It only bothers me when price isnt listed and they highball you with a firm price when you ask.
Awww they older lady and her treasures ! She knew where everything came from and wow the places she’s seen ! ❤
Great finds! Love the Grateful Dead plushes! ❤
Matt, I have no problem teaching you or your dad how to park…🚗 LOL 🙏🙀 I think it would be a fun adventure!!
I'm the worst at parking, I still can't parallel park.

Gotta love it when I'm screaming at the screen--- CUTCO CUTCO, that's a CUTCO knife!!! lol
Matt- You were so sweet with the woman at the second sale. She seemed really cool and I enjoyed her stories.
Surprisingly some beanies are still worth quite a few bucks, saw some go for a few hundred at an auction in the spring…crazy !
The lady at the yard sale was so cool. She explained ever item...where they came from and who bought them and for whom they were for. Life story on them. Interesting for sure! Thanks for sharing your day!
That was the funnest sale ever! I loved the lady and all of her trinkets.
Cool video! You made some good deals and were very polite through and through. This is the way to do it. Well done! Nice profit too!
Thank you for always showing the prices you sold your items for
That Idahoan was a stitch! I LOVED her!!!!! You got some beautiful stuff from her.
Matt, you were making me so nervous the way you were walking around with that knife pointed forward.
That lady was a hoot! Best wishes to her in downsizing and her move!

I noticed that Matt now looks at sweatshirts and Christmas stuff more. He must be thinking of Kayla.
How precious this woman is! If she doesn't bring me memories of one of my grandmother. LOL! On Papa Picker parking at the end!

Great treasures loved the older lady and her stories ,she really loved her stuff.
I have that knife from when I sold them in college almost 35 years ago. Still cuts a ripe tomato thin. Love it.
Great picking! Always looking for glass Christmas trees!
Oh my gosh! My imagination or did she take that knife right out of Matt’s hand and put it back in that silverware pile?! 🤔🤦🏻♀️😂
She did! 😮
And why?
Maybe she took it to look at it and put it back on the tray because he already looked at it.
I noticed that too and was like why did she do that?
She was comparing it to the other. She wanted to sell it...
Love the purple shirt lady and her stories and her love for her things...
Jackson Hole Wyoming, my favorite place. That was a fantastic yard sale! You did good!
Thats where I was born and still live, just 20 minutes from Boise, ID. You and Kayla need to come visit lol

That lady was great! I was thinking the same thing about your dads parking when u got there!😂
I love that everything you listed are "vintage" pretty much. A sweater, vintage. Old != vintage and "vintage" on certain items has a year designation for things like cars for example. A plush handmade christmas tree is not "vintage" if you don't know the year.
