It's Pryor and Gene Wilder, but it perfectly encapsulates the funniest multi-cultural vibes from the 80's. =D I LOVE THAT MOVIE. It's very 80's but it's still funny as shit.

Just had to laugh at myself for realizing I was watching someone watch something.
I have been think the exact same thing. I think its partly about loneliness. This allows one to watch something that is special to them and to share with others who feel exactly the same. This is rare with even real life friends (who may not like what you like or be touched by certain songs that move you). No Life Shaq is very genuine and his reactions are spot on. Its a friend you wished you had.
Same. I think it's grown in popularity due to quarantine this year. But for me it's really great seeing people react to some songs or shows from my generation. Especially timeless artists like Whitney Houston.

This reminded me of when I was a kid, and we had a laserdisc player (remember those?) with only half a dozen discs which we watched repeatedly. One of those was Richard Pryor Live on the Sunset Strip.
