Actually Elvis told me that he asked her to promise to keep his name. I can recall exactly how he looked when he told me; we were sitting talking by the piano (Graceland) and I was thrilled that he confided in me what Vernon had already told me. I’m 82 and I go way back with the entire family. To know him was truly a joy; I am blessed beyond words to have been close to him, as well as Gladys and Vernon and Dodger. Even Mary (his cook) was a total angel in human form. Mary really wanted to see Elvis and Priscilla back together. I wish people would not say things based on feelings rather than on actual facts.

It surprises me that everyone who benefited from all the books they wrote about Elvis, after he passed away and I mean BENEFITED, no one has anything to say about the good things Elvis did for them? Let's talk about how much money or gifts they received from Elvis. How great Elvis was to them!! Did they really love Elvis? Respect him?
I’m sure Elvis wanted Priscilla back. I’m an old (82 this year) friend of the Presleys and met Priscilla (had lunch with her twice). I was in the 3-part TV special and talked with Priscilla during the filming. She was a consultant for the TV series. Oddly enough, I got a credit since I was the only person they could find who had actual photos of the back of Elvis’ head! I had taken several photos of him, his mom and dad, as well as the “gang” of guys he had hanging around him almost constantly. I was living down the street from Elvis when he bought the house on Audubon Drive (about a year and a half before Graceland). I have so much memorabilia and so many fantastic memories of the nights at the Memphis Fairgrounds (I’d ride the bumper cars and the Tilt-a-Whirl with Elvis; he always had his arm around me on the “Tilter”). We went to Skateland and he kept teasing me to join in the “crack the whip” chain, but I was just 15 and too scared to do it! One night when I told Elvis that I was scared he’d let go of me and I’d go “flying across the rink”, he burst out laughing and said “Nice to know how much you trust me!” I loved going to the Memphis Theatre with him (and then the “Memphis Mafia”) sitting in the dark and staring at him. He’d rent all the places we went to get away from the people who would mob him. I felt so bad for him and looking back, think of all he had to go through just to get out of the house and have some good, normal fun with his friends. What a life of solitude the “King” lived. I’m so grateful to have known him. He will never be forgotten. Look Away Dixieland! 💖

It appears that Elvis's friends were there for one reason. I find it odd that all they can do about Elvis is criticize him. Riley has to do what she and her mother felt was right. That doesn't include Priscilla. At 78 Priscilla herself could go anytime then it disrupts the estate all over again.
Everytime people have plastic surgery the the stakes are high that something could go wrong. Priscilla has it constantly. Unfortunately, the courts will have to retire Priscilla. She won't.
Riley is Elvis and Lisa . She has deep southern roots and it makes her a steel magnolia and stronger than the ones trying to hurt her. I pray for her . I pray God will keep his guiding hand on Riley. She is a beautiful legacy for Lisa and for Elvis
This conversation of the day Elvis died and how they were helping Lisa write a letter to her father in Percilla's garden doesn't make sense. Lisa was already at Graceland and had been for several days.
Reread the transcript at eight minutes on. One moment, they are helping Lisa write her father and the next, Lisa and Ginger are sleeping in the room.
I'm not saying they didn't talk. However, Lisa could not have been writing a letter in Percilla's garden and be at Graceland at the same time.
Priscilla cant keep her fantasies straight. She totally takes Ginger out of his life.
I saw a video the night Elvis died, he struggled to get up the stairs, but even so he still checked on Lisa sleeping. So saying she was at her mother's writing to him doesn't make sense. Also after he died Lisa rang Linda Thompson from Gracelandc

over 35 years ago my father visited Graceland like Elvis my father was an entertainer and he used to sing on the different island in Hawaii also booked all over Las Vegas. Elvis was my father’s idol, my dad had to visit Graceland upon his visit. He fell in love with Tennessee. we eventually moved to NashvilleTennessee, and I too fell in love it finally dawned on me the other day that I have Elvis to thank because if it wasn’t for Elvis there would’ve been no Tennessee for me. And I am eternally grateful Tennessee gave me a son who is now 28 years old and we are 40 days away from moving back and we are making it a point to stop at Graceland to pay our respects, and say thank you to Elvis for introducing us to Tennessee 🙏😇❤️

She can sing anything and is really really talented . Yep, thanks for that reminder, because it's absolutely true. From memory it was in the Book "Child Bride". A book that was very well researched and documented. I read it many years ago. I'm sure that's the one that talks about priscilla's agenda driven parents her plotting and scheming to meet Elvis and the boyfriends she had after Elvis went back to the United States when his service was over. I wish Hollywood would make that one into a movie. However, Queen Priscilla has a lot of clout it seems, so I'm sure that will never happen.

Yes, Elvis probably while having Ginger as a girlfriend, longed for Priscilla. Drugs robbed him from a decent life with Priscilla. Ginger hoped he would marry her, but he wasn't capable of making decisions like that at that point. To be honest with you, why was Ginger after him, knowing how destructive he was? Ginger should have asked herself why Priscilla needed to leave Elvis, even though she loved him. I'm assuming Ginger was after his fame & money. She would have given him an ultimatum to stop drugs, if she loved him & was willing to loose him to help him out.

He was engaged to ginger and Vernon publicly stated Elvis told him he loved ginger and wanted kids with her, a son. He said he'd loved, but never been truly in love. He was forced into the marriage with Priscilla because he could be charged with her being 14 when it started. He told everyone even Vernon he didn't want to marry her. His baby talk was with his mom only. She's stealing that. She didn't try to help him, she took the pills too. She left him for her lover mike stone. Elvis didn't shoot his TV until years after she left. She kept calling him to set her dad up in business, borrow the jet etc. He was angry and wouldn't. She wouldn't remarry to live off his name. Vernon shared about Elvis loving ginger and wanting to marry her and have kids with her.
Elvis loved Priscilla, I read many times he wanted her back. Priscilla said he came to beg her to come back! He went to Priscilla mother and begged her to talk to Priscilla to come home to him. Cillas mother thought highly of Elvis and she was torn both ways, when they parted. We will never know if they would get back together or not. Priscilla loved him too.

And people may or may not know this, but he asked Debra Paget to marry him way before Priscilla ever came along. She was in Love Me Tender with Elvis. However, she turned him down because she didn't want to be in a marriage with a big name entertainer. So, if no one is familiar with her. Look her up, now I could say that Priscilla was even based off Debra Paget they look alot alike in the younger days. I don't know about now. But, I would be willing to say that there was a reason for his initial attraction to Priscilla.
Priscilla & Elvis actually had 16 years together - both young & continued to impact each other’s lives. Elvis’s career , lacked advice how to incorporate family life. He inherits TEF his mother’s health Co dictions. In another era there would have been more professional help for both of them. I would love to see them when Elvis was older, had become a fine actor & metropolitan singer - would have been better for everyone.
Yes I believe Elvis loved Priscilla from the moment they met until the day he passed. I believe Elvis did want her back. I think she would've if he changed. It's a shame that he couldn't stop the drugs and sleeping with other women. If he did he would've lived longer and he'd have his family back. It's very sad.

What I think is so sad is that Priscilla says Elvis did not sleep with her after she gave birth to Lisa Marie cuz he couldn’t sleep with anyone who was a mother. Elvis is rumored to have put a hit out on him because he thought Stone was trying to have him killed. They never want that until it’s too late we all know many have done this. They don’t want the stability until they’ve run a muck and gotten to the end of the book. Then they want to do a full circle but by that time “the one” is already writing a new book for their life. And there’s nothing really to understand or not get it’s really simple. A lot of them when they are young want the cake and eat it too. And they are willing to lie, dip, go and fro do whatever to keep it how they like it. It isn’t until the one says no more that they suddenly become devastated and want to supposedly do right, but by then the ship is long gone and out to sea Lol. The key to all of this kind of situation lies in the wom3n they shouldn’t being innocent children into the mix with these types of m3n. Cause all that does is bring innocent children into the mix of a mess. So wom3n have to start vetting men before creating children with them. The vetting system lies with us not them and there’s nothing wrong with that. We’ve seen enough of the suffering women and kids go through within these types of situations. So it’s fine if wom3n get caught up in love and need time to then seperate themselves, but as I’ve told my own daughter. If you are going to stay a bit longer holding out for change fine but make sure you do so while making sure you protect yourself at all cost from becoming pregnant. Cause if at the end of that process you find out and have to accept it is what it actually is. You at least can leave with yourself without having brought an innocent child into the not so good dynamic. We as wom3n have to start a new generation of women who choose who they procreate with not just let it happen. 🙏🏼🌻

I do believe that he loved Priscilla & that he wanted her & his family back. It's based on numerous videos and things he said and did. But yes, I do believe so, and I think he to some degree died of being heartbroken over the loss of both his wife & daughter essentially. Sad.

Fame destroyed him. Because of the fans he could not come and go and live a normal life, up all day and sleep at night like normal people. And in order to cope he had to have pills to go to sleep and pills to wake up. And thus the drugs changed his personality and eventually caused his death. No fan loved him more than me and if all fans were like me then Elvis could have had his space and I think Priscilla and he would have stayed together and had more little ones. Which is too bad. The two had such a bond that it couldn't be broken by a divorce. Fame comes with a price. Everyone wants a chunk of you. As a fan why can't we just enjoy them and let them live a normal life. One story I heard was that Elvis was ready to take a long break, but he didn't want to let his crew down. He was very mindful of their families going without a paycheck. And his manager was pressuring him for more shows. I wonder if taking a break or retiring might have saved his life.
I’m am so disappointed that nobody around him staged an intervention to help Elvis get clean. It was like hey, we got this money train going and we’re riding it. I think Elvis always loved Priscilla, since the day he met her in Germany 1958. And although Elvis was not faithful to her, he always came back home to her no matter what. This engagement to Ginger Alden at the end was probably just so Ginger would not leave him, since he was already very sick and did not want to be alone. But I don't think he would have ever married her. Elvis loved Priscilla until his death 😭 And Priscilla has always loved Elvis even until this day, as she has expressed. I am reading the book, “Being Elvis - a lonely life” , and according to this book, he was never faithful to any of the women he was with. He probably was when they were around him, but once he was on the road, it was a different story. He also began abusing pills at a young age. He started taking his mother’s diet pills to give him energy. I believe he was a very troubled individual. It is so sad that he refused to change his ways of womanizing and drug abuse. He could have went to rehabilitation for drugs but I don’t think he wanted to. I do believe he wanted a family and that he has a special connection with Priscilla and in a way I believe she still loves him even though he is gone, but she wouldn’t go back to him because she knew how he was and that he wasn’t willing to change.
