Industrial Decarbonization - Priority Technical Spaces

SoCalGas® RD&D invites you to watch a webinar about technology priorities in the industrial decarbonization space. Darcy Partners conducted a strategic analysis of early-stage R&D technologies aimed at advancing industrial decarbonization. They leveraged a variety of data sources, including the EIA and SoCalGas itself, to understand the potential impact of a variety of emergent energy transition technologies on industrial customers in Southern California. They identified three areas of priority: thermal energy storage, distributed hydrogen production, and point-source carbon capture.
For each of these priority technical spaces, the Darcy team developed a landscape exploring early-stage companies working on these solutions. The Darcy team considered, in partnership with SoCalGas, a variety of innovators and product classes and ultimately built out innovator comparisons identifying the key innovators and how their solutions differ in focus and capability.
