Glad to have you putting content back up. This channel has definitely made an impact in getting me ridding and working on my bike
That’s awesome! Thanks for being a part of what we do.
it wouldn't be an SBU video without the battery dying 🤣 welcome back! sad to see Tex no longer with ya.
Working on bikes is a lot of bending crouching laying unlike a car believe it or not.
@@alejandrotobienne8220 i have no idea why you replied this to me but thanks ?
I’ll watch 45 hours of this 🔥👌👌👌
Seriously, if you find yourself saying " I won't bore you with that part" like at the rearsets, PLEASE DO. Don't even need narration. We'd watch.
So glad you're back.
Side note: you should do an RS660 build 😁
The high end superbike build with all trick parts, and a junker 22 year old SV in the background. Love it!
He’s a local customer / racer, we don’t discriminate! It’s still got some good laps left in it.
Awesome to see you guys back. Looking forward to the next one.
Great to see you back

Great video Freddy!
I’m literally getting my oil pan replaced right now, at first I kicked myself for not getting the race one, then I heard the price…..
Don’t care that the vid is long, enjoyed all of it. Can’t wait for the next one!
Amazing how all the Chinesium bolts add up to lots of weight. That Ti stuff though, ooof! $$
Love to see it, keep up the videos
Love your channel!! Spoke to you briefly at Barber with the Ducati during a STT weekend and appreciated the fact you took a second to talk with me about that gorgeous bike!
Any time!
Love these videos! Thanks for explaining everything so clearly! Keep up the good work. Cannot believe the cost of the racing upgrades, it's like freaking highway robbery! Oh, and no need to apologize for the length of this video - it was all fascinating stuff!
Oooo head cup magic 👌
Great to see you back at it Freddy. And I really want one of them Suter caps!!!! 😂
What up Freddy we’ve missed you bro glad to see you!!
Very interesting watch. The cooler lines for this bike I think cost more than my entire bike 😂
Great video. Best of luck with Westby.
Hello Freddy , so nice to your video. I wish the best to Tex. So far the best technician i saw on you tube. Hope to see you on track. Best regards from France
Love the vids
Glad too see you back sir Finally finished my V4s and now I’m working on my 2021 Zx10rr I’ll be ordering ton of parts from your company Thanks for the video 🙏
FINALLY 🎉
Just want more racebike content!
Always on another level Freddy !!! Love Superbikes 😍😍😍 , a suter swingarm next ?
RIP V4r we hardly knew thee
R1 is the best
Listen to Tex talk about clutches. It has the same to do with the last clutch pack plate being offset.
You don’t want a large gap as you will slip the shit out of your plates. 1-2mm is good cause it incorporates clutch less shifts and down shifts.
You want less rake on short courses and more take on courses that have high entry speeds in turns. So a 3 mile pulse course with straights or large turn transitions would benefit better from large rake (more speed) think of rake as caster on a cars front end.
❤
so happy to see this pick back up. love the crazy build, but a $15k motec system isn't in the cards for me. i'll be interested in what parts you guys use and recommend for stuff that's attainable for normal people (race bodywork, handlebar switches, clipons, dash, MC, etc.). i need to get my '22 R1 race ready by next month and will be going on a shopping spree soon.
We will cover a good bit of those basics in this one.
Hey guys do you remove steel bolts and install titanium or lower weight bolts all around?? Are you allowed to. And can fork springs be made out of light weight materials??
No liquid Nitrogen you can use Butane canister gets it just as cold and just enough shrinkage.
Hello Freddie, what kind of oil pan kit you used ? I really want one. 😢
Nice vid - is this a customer bike or just a test mile for you to see what parts to recommend to customers?
This is a shop-owned bike. We may enter it in a race or two.
Bringing it to Roebling this weekend?
It’s not ready yet, unfortunately.
When does it make more sense to do a full fork upgrade vs replacing the stock internals (i.e. cartridge kits)?
There are a lot of considerations: length, OEM fork tube quality and overall performance. Since this is a superbike, it was necessity, the OEM fork tubes on the R1 are too short and a little flimsy in comparison.
What ends up happening with the stock ignition barrel? Is it relocated or just completely removed? (I am looking at triples for my r1 aswell) Thank you for the response.
Yes, eliminated.
Do you guys have a link to this oil pan kit?
how much longer does the suter swingarm make the bike? as compared to the regular swingarm?
It depends on the arm spec. There are multiple versions available.
Can i know where can i get the racing oil pan
Cosworth SQ6 and MQ12 is another level on from Motec and not that different in price these days, the Cosworth TCS strategies are unreal
So a GYTR gasket adds how many hp?
@@stevenjackson5541 From the higher oil compression ratio? :)
Is that a ZXR/Ninja 750 K model rear fairing and tank? Pleeeease show us the Kawasaki!!
No modded gixxer sir? 👀
Who makes the oil pan kit??
Yamaha
Freddy!!!
Amazing video and information !! Keep em coming. Hire a camera guy !!!
I'm dying to know.. what will you tune/flash it with? btmoto? woolich? something else? i just ordered 4 grand of stuff last week for my '20 R1M and i'm sure it wont be enough. i have a sickness, heh.
