I have a lot of the same memories!! My grandma and grampa would always buy me cracker jacks and OH how I loved the prizes too!!❤️

Oh My Word!! I have always LOVED colorful food labels, but just did not know what to do with them!! Now, You have provided a solution for me!! These are my favorite types of junk journals. I love to make this type too. I'm 47 and yes I remember 😉. I stopped buying it because the little toy was the main treat.

Oh I am half way through but need to say yea I do remember the little write on and lift up to erase writing pads as a child ! Livening all the different textures and colours. Leaving the mesh is such a great idea ❤☕️

This was so much fun. I remember the slate from the cracker jacks. The spine is so creative! Since you showed this months ko-fi printable, I wanted to tell you I print is off every month and use them for each months cover page in my journal. I would encourage anyone to sign up for your ko-fi printable as there are many, many ways to use them. I also have some of your printable pages and they always come in handy. tfs this little journal. xoxoxo

Cara Cara oranges are my favorites too! I've never seen them in bags though. This little journal is simply adorable. I think I need to make one too! Oh yeah, I remember all the cool surprises in the Cracker jack boxes too. I bought Cracker Jack for the surprise, as I was never crazy about the Cracker Jack. Always tasted liked burnt caramel corn to me. Thanks for sharing this video!

Love minis🥰 this is awesome very clever use of can labels. I collect receipts from various stores/restaurants and if the store/restaurant logo is at the top of the receipt I tear it off and use it in my mini. There are some pretty cool logos and makes a great page for your mini journal. 😊
Thanks so much! Using receipts is really fun idea! You might want to make, and use, photocopies of them, though, as the print on those thermal receipts everyone uses nowadays, fades away over time (some sooner than others). Happy creating! 😊

cat!! this journal is sooooo great!!! i just love how you made the packaging the pages 🥰 and the little window spine? genius. funny how we all have different habits, too. fascinating watching you flip through it 😊 and love your washi tapes. and how you add little smiley faces when you journal, i do that too hahaha. i think im just so used to typing that i cant help but feel like i must include it 😂 companies are way too obsessed with profits to add any kind of fun toy to things anymore, lol! even happy meals aren't the same 😢 . the loop doodles on your collage fodder is funny, i doodle the same shape all over mine😊 and that printable??? THE HOUSE IS SO CUTE OMG!

Oh my great minds! I have been collecting my fave food packaging to create the same type of junk journal. I hope mine turns out as good as yours - so so cute! And I love okra and tomatoes (and fried okra) and white rice so you KNOW which part of the country I was raised in!😉😁

Oh, this is such a sweet idea😍 and it's interesting for foreigners like myself to see what your product packaging looks like. Most of the stuff I've never heard of. I think I will make something like this some time. I'm funnily enough also working in a junk journal right now, following the junk journal July prompts. In August. What a rebel😂

@@CatHand yes, that's the one. I use all sorts of different coloured wrappers, clear and foil bags etc and cut them to size. They feel so chunky. I love them. Way heavier than I imagined too

Hi Barbara - I get it at Publix. 😊
I haven’t bought any in a while, and I just checked my Publix online and also on Amazon and I don’t see it anymore. 🫤 So I messaged the company to see if they’re still selling it and if it will be coming back. I’ll let you know when/if they respond. Stores like Whole Foods, Sprouts, Fresh Market may have it, too.
Well, they replied, but with unfavorable news. They are not producing it anymore due to supply chain disruptions, and costs to acquire ingredients. But I’m hopeful they will make it again someday, maybe when inflation goes down... 🤞🏻
