Very well put together video! I personally feel like the entire options trigger is insane. With P1 controls disabled, you can finally tap around in cuts scenes without it randomly killing you!
for extreme demons yes, but for a person constantly dabbling in the editor I feel like free mode is helpful as well. plus the gravity trigger can create better sync (also timewarp), and scale triggers too

kinda, it only compare itens (7 == 9 for exemple) and toggles a group id if it False or True (in this case false), it can do some cool things, but i didint see anything grounbreaking yet. And yes: it is straight up programming, in python you can simply do this: if 7 == 9: print("7 is equal to 9") else: print("7 is not equal to 9") Just an exemple tho, it can be used to do more complex things

You have to be careful though, unlinking dual gravity WHILE on dual means changing the rules of the game constantly AS you're playing it, perfect breeding ground for confusing, terrible gameplay

better, using "stop P1 jump" you cant make auto levels without having to add jumpads and lines to the level, just hold at the start and everytime you disable stop p1 jump it will count a a new jump.

You couldn't, it was only possible with 2 player mode. And 2 player mode sucks because i have no friends. The options trigger let's you do this in 1 player mode
"disable controls" is also a good option (might be handy in platformer mode)

Me who's been using unlinked duals by simply adding a gravity portal to one of the two modes. You don't need 2.2 features for that
