The display is meant to be put on a flat surface like dashboard or on the steering wheel.. If u put it upside down not suitable if the surface not plastic the tape can't stick..
Didn't you read the end of the video? "Just install it & good luck". So i guess if it is upside down and doesnt work, then you will need to rely on that "good luck" to fix it.
