At 1:10 in the video, I live between the camera and Mt Monadnock in the background. I love it here, but I also like spending time in AZ/NV/etc, so road trips tend to be 7500 miles and up. Maine definitely has a busy season and an off season. The transition is more like a light switch than gradual, at least for tourist services.
The off season wasn't as short when I lived in Maine! Last year the camping guide showed a lot of places open in mid April. This year, some won't open at all. Part of this road-trip was to have some family and friends time. I moved from the seacoast NH area 10 years ago. I am thinking New Mexico in the fall... (or part of rt66) Lynn
Next time I go up ! We can try to get, "Boss Lady" to camp ! 😊 I wanted to go to the Cape too, but had Dr. appointment stuff scheduled. I think it would be fun to do a collaboration video ( you can cook) 😊 Lynn
