- When I came out of Smoo Cave, a gentleman had waited on me to come out and mentioned that he thinks something wasn't right with Nessie 😩. He's from America and he knows his way around VW vans and he immediately heard something wasn't right with her so I thought I had to get her checked out asap. After a wee snorkel in the morning, Adam who I met at the party and his dad had a look at it and recommended taking it in to get someone to look at Nessie. Unfortunately the closest garage was up a steep hill but they were able to help us out getting to the top. The garage we went to was in Scourie and they had a look at Nessie immediately and fixed her there and then. 😻. Since we didn't know how long Nessie would have to be in the garage for, Natalia and Tom prepared a sleeping spot for us ❤️. Even though Nessie didn't have to stay in for longer, we took up the offer and spent the evening with Natalia and Tom. Incredibly grateful for everyone who helped us out get Nessie fixed 🚌🥰

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet - but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together. I am amazed at how strong that towing rope was, and the secure knots. Nessie is heavy, especially with all the gear inside. So glad she’s running smoothly now.
Great example of a cat and a human having an amazing relationship. Cat are extremely smart. When given the opportunity, they can train us well.
Nala just seemed bewildered to be hissed at. Most cats would have hissed back.

I’m probably biased but I think Nala is an exceptional cat. She was so chill even when the other cat hissed in her face. I just love watching her.
I think a big part is that she has such a strong relationship with Dean, she knows nothing will hurt her when he's there!

Nala is a true champion. She loves her hooman, smart, graceful, and always keep her cool even when another cat's hissing at her. She's beyond amazing! ❤️

Yes, Nala seemed quite ready to give a sweet hello to the the other cat which gave a loud and lengthy hiss! You could tell Nala was incredulous as to why in the world this would be necessary!

Dean, if you can find one, take Nala on a glass bottom boat ride. We took our cat when on vacation and he went crazy watching all the fish and other sea life. They had lights on the boat bottom. It was spectacular.
