Glad I bought my Venza when I did! Absolutely the nicest and most luxurious vehicle I’ve ever had! I’ve sat inside the Signia and immediately disliked it. For $46k for an XLE the seats were rock hard and uncomfortable. In addition, I’m 6’4” and the vehicle sat to low to the ground and definitely not for most people who are tall or need something to easy get in and out of. The Signia is a station wagon. People don’t drive station wagons anymore. The Toyota sales man and I had a conversation about the Venza and we both agreed that I’ll be back and the Signal will get pulled for poor sales. People want value for there hard earned money and the Signia is anything but value for the money. Why not just get the Lexus NX 350h for the same price as the Signia Limited. The Venza will be back but the Signal will get discontinued, no doubt about it. Back to the drawing board Toyota, what where you thinking with this one?
Love our 2023 Venza Limited! The height is why we went with the Venza. I banged my head (6'2") getting into a Crown (not the Signia), at the dealership. 48k out the door, and I wanted Blueprint, but our Coastal Metallic Grey looks blue most of the time (pulls the blue from the sky, maybe?) Great car! The Crown has about a dozen predecessor Crowns, in the Toyota family, but the Venza has only the one earlier version, which are nice, but not sporty enough. My wife originally wanted a slightly older Rav4, but she is overjoyed with the Lexus-like Venza, at a decent price point, otd Thanks for the comparison vid! Gonna keep our Venza! BTW, I'm driving her 2004 Sienna now, which is still like-new, with 208,000 miles on her! Toyota rocks!
My husband bought the Venza and love it. So comfortable and looks luxurious. We have the night shade edition in white I think it's called absolutely gorgeous 😍
The Signia is basically a Camry station wagon with a Lexus price tag. Remember the days when a station wagon version of a sedan was only slightly more..... Call it a SUV, plus 20K.
Thanks for the side by side comparison and I’m so glad I have my Venza. The extra length of the Crown Signia is lost on me as I seldom carry cargo and I’m guessing it’s a bit more difficult to park. I’m tall so I like the higher seat position for ease of entry and exit. Also to me the color selection for the Signia is very limited.
Thank you so much for putting these two vehicles side by side. I'm surprised that the Crown Signia is not all that much larger than the Venza! Somehow I had assumed there would be more than a 6.x% difference in cargo space. Very helpful video.
@@ToyotaWorld Will do. So putting the numbers aside for a moment, what is your *impression* of the size of the vehicle when you get in? Does Signia "feel" bigger than the numbers would suggest? I was hoping the Signia would be the size of the old Venza that was discontinued in 2015 or so.

Signia is a raised Camry wagon with luxury features and not a replacement of the Venza. The Venza Limited is less expensive and has more luxury features than the Signia Limited. No one has done a full comparison of the Signia and Venza online because it will show Venza is a far far better vehicle and more price competitive than the Signia. My guess is Signia is not going to sell well. Venza competes with Lexus NX while the Signia does not compete with the NX or the RX. Wagon does not sell well in North America. North American prefer SUV, especially in the US. I won't be surprised if Toyota will eventually bring the Venza (also known as the Harrier in the rest of the world and in Japan) in the future. The Venza even comes with a spare tire which Signia does not.

Toyota Venza is called Toyota Harrier in Japan and only available in select few Asian countries (Singapore, Malaysia, etc.) beyond Japan, considered as premium luxury car. The oldest or earlier model of Lexus RX was actually based on older model of Toyota Harrier. Also, the Stargaze panoramic moonroof (dimming feature) is only available in 3 models: Lexus GX, Lexus RZ, and Toyota Venza (Harrier) Limited. I definitely love Toyota Venza Limited (Harrier) more than Toyota Crown Signia (called Toyota Crown Estate in Japan) as Venza looks more like a real luxury SUV than the Signia (blurred the line between SUV and Wagon). No tinted windows, no rear sun shades, and no spare tire in a family SUV at this price point. It's going to be a hard sell with me without major discounting. Which is a bummer because otherwise it's a perfect luxury replacement for my Subaru Outback, which has tinted windows and spare tire. Very frustrating. First, the kids are going to suffer in the sun, second it's not safe to have people looking for stuff to steal in your car with no privacy glass. Toyota needs to rethink the little things. Toyota connections. The official announcement is at the auto show in November. You’ll love it! 12” display, 232 HP hybrid, noise reduction and bigger. More refined truck like appearance, very similar design as the all new 4Runner. Better in every way possible. 👍
Look for upcoming incentives from Toyota to clear out all the older stock of RAV 2024/2025 inventory.
@@billyrock8305 thanks, love the RAVs

No problem. Topgun SUV. Only the Honda CRV HYBRID is currently better. That changes soon. 👍
Seems you may be the only person to have seen pictures of the redesign. Cool
I love my Venza. The Crown Signia is too far into station wagon territory.
wish the look were more of a SUV than a wagon. 🙂
Toyota has a RAV4 for you!
@@jsfbay1 yeah but somehow I don't like the "industrial" look of the RAV4 🙂
@@paulkwan2006 I'm very interested to see what the redesigned RAV4 looks like.
Hmm comparing a xover to a wagon
The crown is way overpriced.. They are not selling many of them at the dealerships, with that happening, I am sure the crown will come down in price. Just wait, it will happen.
Hope you are right. I like the Signia, but not at the current price point.
Love my 2021 venza clean do not like the crown signia bad choice Toyota I will go RAV4 2026
Both look so similar and boring. Venza was discontinued twice already.
Venza can go here offroad.
Signia cannot:

venza is way more appealing. wrong move toyota
We'll find out if you're right. Ain't capitalism a great thing? The customer's pocket book wins in the end.
Would love to but a hybrid station wagon in 2wd.
They are abundant in Europe but not here in the US.
A 2wd Signia would be awesome. The Signia is overpriced, though.
Make a practical Camry Station wagon. That is really what people need. Not a jacked up, boxy, giant wheeled, AWD, sheeple like, boring ass, SUV vehicle.
Do you have exact side by side noise level comparison in data?
