Bricks is def the future for builders. For me as a full stack coder a game changer. Finally I can work visually just as I would code stuff, and best of all, it’s so fast and renders lovely output. And it’s just in version 1.5. That’s insane.

In Bricks there is a lot to discover, you've just scratched the surface of it, and it will need a little more of a developer thinking to understand why Bricks does things like they did. To me, it makes totally sense and for me Bricks is more intuitive with some things than Elementor is. Also, the way you can use CSS in Bricks, you have not seen or noticed, I guess. You can set “Global Styles” and give them names.
I give you an example, maybe you can follow. Since 10 years ago, you have walked to the next street (parallel street behind the houses) left around your street to get to the other roughly middle. Then your neighbour says, why you don't go right around, it's a half mile shorter. It will feel different, odd, weird, but if you would walk the next time always right around it just starts to feel more right, probably. And that's what it is, we have two products, two options and have the freedom to chose what we want. For me, as I'm super curious about it, is the Bricks builder for now.

This builder is developing by leaps and bounds with each update. It's a joy to use for developers- no lagging or loading times while the builder starts. To me, one of the most underrated features is the remote templates, which makes transferring designs, or entire websites, a snap. No importing or exporting, just link up the destination and all the layouts are there. One thing I haven't gotten to work as well as I'd liked is the Gutenberg - Bricks data interchange, but perhaps improvements will come in the next update.

i also love Elementor but big fan of Oxygen and Bricks. Both of them produce very clean code. You can actually add a div that is just a plain div. Anything you add in Elementor automatically gets dumped inside 3-4 layers of divs. If you want a clean code base then oxygen and bricks, maybe zion and cwircly are the only builders that do it.

You can have the live web page on one screen and the editor on the second screen. When you save anything on the editor, it will automatically refresh the live web page to show the latest result.

It might be genuine and very good....but that's what people think about nitro pack too. At first glance I found the interface looked a bit too cluttered. Great Vid!
I really recommend to work with classes because it's very powerful for global styling, you can pretty much style everything globally with classes. Performance is really great in Bricks, 60 points on mobile is very bad and optimization is a lot of additional work in Elementor. I think the publish button was vanishing because you already published the changes and there was nothing new to publish.

100 x 2 on performance out of the box! 🤯 I really like the added SM and SEO features.
Some of the design functionality will annoy me though. I do not like how global styles are locked in the way it is and what is up with the publish button? These two things will be little frustrations along with having to input the numbers on gradients and other element styles while designing and probably keep me wondering why it is the way it is and wishing it wasn't so. I'm like you, using Elementor is such a breeze because I've used it for so long. Is what I saw enough to make me change over....not yet, but Bricks has huge potential and I will definitely be keeping 👀 on it. Thanks for another great video.

I also like the idea of an expanded with video help area. But just to note, Bricks is being built by 5 developers. I think their priorities currently are in the right place to 1) continue building out the capabilities of Bricks and 2) squashing bugs as they invariably pop up. I also believe that by 2.0 there will be no discussion whether Ele or O2 should ever be used in a professional website building environment or agency. My faith is due to the underpinnings and framework being Vue. Even Sofly, makers of O2, are instead building a whole new builder with Vue (Breakdance), rather than rewrite O2. It remains to be seen how Elementor will move into the future: rewrite or build a new builder. I'm betting on something completely new, or purchasing a new theme builder.
