@@brooksorlando4881 Yeah! It works for some teams and players, But I can see Zach literally pissing his pants as he approaches the side lines after throwing an INT and facing that cabbage patch monster!
Nah, that ship has long since sailed. Besides, look at the Jets during Rex's last four years and then with Buffalo. I always considered him better at coaching defense than as HC. This quote from an old article says it all about Rex; "Ryan's problem was never with the media, never with the public. It was never in the locker room - where his players loved him. His problem was never in coaching defense. Even this year, when the Jets won just four games, Ryan's defense finished in sixth in the NFL in yards allowed and Top 5 rushing yards allowed. Ryan was fired as head coach in large part because of personnel failures around him, and failures by himself and his coaching staff to ever truly develop a quarterback, despite several attempts. It didn't work with Mark Sanchez, whom the Jets traded up to draft in the first round in 2009. With a run-heavy offense and one of the league's best defenses, Sanchez quarterbacked the Jets to two AFC championship games. When the pressure was placed on Sanchez to shoulder the load of the offense, he and the Jets - and therefore Ryan -- failed."
Here's the thing. I never wanted to root against Zach and I think the majority of fans would agree. Where he really messed up was the way he acted after losing big games and not taking accountability for anything. It's very easy to boo someone who seems like they don't give a shit and act like everyone else BUT them are the problem 🤷♂️ with that being said, if he puts in the work, shows improvement with someone who can coach him properly, the fans will follow eventually. Depending on results of course 😅
@@TheYamahog12 true it is, but the only parts of his game that are bad right now are parts that could be taught and developed into him. He has the unteachable, arm strength, speed, scramble ability/throws on the fly. Now he just needs to read the field better, throw accuracy, timing, placement

Keep Saleh, fire LaFleur, get a vet QB that Wilson can learn behind, and upgrade the O-line. Breece will be back, hopefully Vera-Tucker, and with the team gelling together in the off-season, I think that'll be enough for us to have the talent and execution to get into the post season

A competent qtr back..we win an additional 3 to 4 games...and in the dance
You guys are all out on Saleh because the offense stinks, but you'll get an offensive guy then the D will go to shit lol
MORE JOE B!!!
And I was saying same yesterday. Salah shows zero emotion on sideline. He needs to RIP these guys for missing tackles, dropping passes, missing FGs etc..
5 weeks ago, Joe said Rob Saleh should win the Coach of the Year.🤣
Imagine Joe running a team?
This guy literally changes with the wind.
Woody needs to sell the team who actually wants win
Jets need to learn to develop a QB this has been a problem for my entire life
I think the problem with Saleh is he's too much of a players coach. You don't need to be a drill sergeant..but instilling some fear into the players is good. They looked unfocused and unmotivated. Saleh wasn't brought in to be X's and O's whiz..His trademark is being a motivational leader and that's exactly what they lacked. I'll give him another yr with a vet QB, but if they don't make the playoffs next yr he's gotta go. This is our window while everyone is cheap. That's why the timing of Zach flopping couldn't be worse. At least with Sam, I knew we were going nowhere anyway lol
We need a coach like Brian Daboll who would whip Zach into shape like the Marine DI, Lee M Ermey did on Full Metal Jacket!
@@ralphsanchico2452 Haha. I do agree that a HC like Daboll is a good idea. He's got the right temperament. Can be really hard and keeps guys on their toes, but is also charismatic and a players coach. It's a tough balance to strike, but the great ones do. I hope I'm wrong, but I think Saleh is more in his wheelhouse as a d coordinator. Usually the guys who are overly emotional like that aren't the best at managing the whole operation.
@@brooksorlando4881 Yeah! It works for some teams and players, But I can see Zach literally pissing his pants as he approaches the side lines after throwing an INT and facing that cabbage patch monster!
I would love REX back. He was the best coach ever, 2 AFC's last back to back playoffs
Insanity
Rex could never get over de-FEET.
Nah, that ship has long since sailed. Besides, look at the Jets during Rex's last four years and then with Buffalo. I always considered him better at coaching defense than as HC. This quote from an old article says it all about Rex;
"Ryan's problem was never with the media, never with the public.
Team looked awful after those 2 years. Y’all are delusional.
@@ryangelder3240 they had no qb
Salah or Rex, noone else
“I can’t say enough bad about this guy.” Joe is gold.
Joe's RAGE!!!!!
Tiki knows first hand about fighting fan ire. There was a point where he used to fumble ALOT, it could be done if Zach wants it.
It might be tougher for a QB.
@@TheYamahog12 true it is, but the only parts of his game that are bad right now are parts that could be taught and developed into him. He has the unteachable, arm strength, speed, scramble ability/throws on the fly. Now he just needs to read the field better, throw accuracy, timing, placement
like Tiki ..Zach needs coaching
This would be a job Payton would seriously consider. Really good roster on both sides and solid GM. Also I think Payton can fix either QB
How do you know?
Jets won't talk to Payton, he would cost too much to NO, but he also would want full control of personnel, no way they give it to them.
@@TL2354 nobody would touch Drew Brees he gets with Payton and puts up Madden numbers until his last year. Would Payton want the Cowboys HC yes however I don’t think Jerry will pay him what you pay a top tier Coach.
Joe Douglas would have gv up power if Payton comes to NyJ
BTW side note Payton is a scab who crossed nfl piket line in 1987
@@daviddeconinck499 Payton crossing the picket line is a non point. I like the selections accept for Wilson Douglass has made. Scouting has found some really good players late rd/undrafted. That’s my issue if you bring Payton in he’ll trade draft assets to win now which hurts you going forward.
Saleh after the Jacksonville and Seattle games looked completely defeated. No fire or passion and that's how his team played. Epic Collapse! Someone has to be the fall guy.
HIRE REX RYAN OR IM DONE WITH THIS DUMPSTER FIRE 🔥 OF THE JETS 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bring back Rex!
I said this 4 weeks ago, the problem is not just the QB's, it's Saleh and the rest of coaches and managers. Clean house.
People forget that Adam Gase was supposed to be an "offensive guru" recommended by Peyton Manning.... Major disaster...and Gase was calling plays, which Saleh does seem to belive in...
I think you need a proven OC like Daboll that can work with Zach, if they want to proceed with him....
Just send Zach to the Giants.
Wilson needs to be gone because there's no credibility at this point if he stays!! The fact that he's been benched twice & it looks like he's not liked in the locker room tells you all you need to know.
Upgrade O line in one year…no way
I really don’t see Payton if Cowboys are one and out in playoffs that job is his
LMGDFAO at "Another year up the rear end."
Saleh mentioned that they'll see bills again, but he should have said until next season.
Yea, in the playoffs....
LET THE FLIP FLOPPERS BEGIN!!!!!
Fire everyone!!!!!! You knew he was a rookie coach a rookie OC
A ROOKIE qb!!!!!
HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!!
I don’t blame coaches if they don’t want to come here. Not to blame white for everything but YOU GUYS THOUGHT HE WAS JOE MONTANA!!
YOU NEED A QB PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!
So true
How is the Jets O-Line overall?
@@Budd631 needs help there yes. Defense is great can’t be perfect if you are on the field all the dam time.
BUT A GOOD OR EVEN DECENT QB WOULD OF GOTTEN YOU A LEAST A COUPLE MORE WINS. THATS A FACT. MOST IMPORTANT POSITION ON THE FIELD.
Love you Joe really do but no def don't want Rex back
If Saleh gets axed I would like to see an OFFENSIVE MINDED coach get hired. These defensive head coaches don't seem to be able to DEVELOPE a good QB.
Hell yeah let's go, Sean Payton and Lamar Jackson
HAHAHAHAHA bro chill its gonna be the same coach and Wilson next year
And this is why the Jets will always be the Jets. Get rid of a defensive coach and hire another defensive coach. You can recycle the coach all you want but if you dont get the qb right it wont matter.
Absolutely! 100%
You send a guy in with rib injuries while Flacco sits on the bench? WTF. Fire Head coach, OC and find a new QB. Derek Carr???
Jets and Mets have the same curse, choke end of the season...
To be fair, the Jets usually start out 0-3 or 1-4.
I like Joe B, but he bases all of his takes on what has happened in the most recent week....The truth is, you CANNOT compete in the modern NFL without competent QB play, and the Jets simply do not have enough talent at the QB position. Period, end of discussion. The good news is that the Jets have such a good defense that the addition of a Jimmy G or Carr in the offseason should be enough to make the Jets a 10 win team next season. The issue is not Saleh, it's atrocious QB talent.
Rex all the way
Tierney tryna to throw Tiki off grammatically b4 the end of the segment, then Joe B summing up the NYJ among other things 😄😄😄😄
All gas no brake??? Has not looked like that
Zack has the talent he just need the football smarts ..
He needs a coach
Needs footwork, size , accuracy, Big arm
Also
@@playahdub5287 he’s got the big arm already. Other things need work
Joe is deflated. I was expecting more, but like the Jets Head Coach, the energy wasn't there. Miss you Joe
Let’s call the Big Tuna!!!!
sean payton can be the answer
Joe B is right about Rsx. Idzik killed him by dismantling the team to make him fail
