Dale's muffled begging followed by his body popping up which would've been perfect with the mario boing sound effect just sums up SR in every horror/deception game
You can say it's the horror aspect, you can say it's the AI and monster behavior, you can say it's the funny moments you can have with the boiz or the mod scene but I still think the single *best* thing in this game is this goddamn 12/10 proximity chat that is has
More games need proxy chat like this. The only thing is if it's a competitive game the meta will always be to just chat in Discord or w/e instead of in the actual game, so competitive multiplayer is out. If LC was a live service game, people would also metagame the VC out of the game itself because eyeless dogs exist and you'll have to farm exp or whatever as fast as possible to get all the shiny ranks and unlocks. In game proximity chat can only realistically exist in a game like this. But then again, if there was an enemy added to the game that attacked players who were TOO QUIET for too long of a period of time . . .

You should try the "ControlCompany" mod. The host can install it on their side without letting the others know and they can control monsters. It's fairly fun to use it to scare your friends.
