Grew up on The Neptunes and understandably as two grown men they were always going to branch off and do their own things but it's good to hear there is no bad blood between each other because I have feared that they may had fallen out with each other.
nah no falling out between the two,Chad just stays out of the public eye.and it's always been that way,but more so now than ever due to the numerous other projects he has going for himself and being more family oriented.and i personally believe that these two would never have a falling out giving their long duration as partners and more so best friends

Pharrell and Chad made each other who they are today... If Pharrell never met Chad, they probably wouldn't be as Big as they are now... Chad always added the funk part to their music as a final touch.. We know this with Drop It Like It's Hot Beat... See it for yourself how they created that. There is no Neptunes without Chad though, hands down. That's coming from a Pharrell fan too.
Funny though people say Chad stays out the Public eye but infact Shay Hayley does that too. No one EVER Mentions him LMFAO...

@@productions271 shay is a Songwriter, performer, a multi instrumentalist and played bass, drums and other percussion on the nerd albums.. can't discredit him either when it comes to nerd that's something different still the neptunes but it's separate from that

Chad Hugo was really the brains behind the whole neptune sound. Pharrell mainly was good with drums and lyrics

@@GabeCerebro yes it is. You must have never watched the documentaries from the early 2000s. I was a diehard Neptunes fan back in the day. I even pulled up their entire catalog and discography to listen to beats they made from artists that I never heard. Even Pharrell said it himself. "Chad is a musical genius". Those are Pharrell's words not mines. Dude could play three different instruments. Saxophone 🎷, guitar 🎸 and piano 🎹. Not saying Pharrell didn't contribute his part because he did. Chad just had a much stronger base in musical theory than Pharrel.
