There is no such thing as a backnhaul for owner operator. It’s a company drag so they don’t have to pay well

Thanks for the comment. It's certainly been a tough couple of years for truck drivers - especially independent contractors. ATS hasn't changed anything with the percentage pay structure and other expectations for owner-operators, however, the market is certainly different than it was a couple of years ago. Costs are also higher for repairs and regular maintenance, which doesn't make things any easier for contractors.
