Romania is my favorite country in Europe and Brasov is my favorite city in Romania. Too many things to see and do when visiting and even 1 month is not long enough. Brasov is right in the middle of country and everything else is only a few hours away.

Also, in the field of comparative religion and spirituality, there was Mircea Eliade, who was a professor at the University of Chicago until his death. Constantin Brancusi, the genius of modern sculpture, had a distinctive and unique approach to sculpture that has often been imitated, but never equaled; Brancusi was also a very spiritual man.
All the people you mentioned in your post, with the possible exception of Brancusi, Dragos, are known mainly to Romanians only. I believe that the name of Zamfir, however, is truly known throughout the world.

@immortalsofar5314 You will find all the freedom, peace and quiet you need in Romania. Besides, the country is self-sustaining in terms of food and energy, it has ample and the best water in the world, a laid back culture, peaceful people, and is already down to a sustainable population.

Got two things wrong in this video: 1. Bran Castle is the same to Dracula's Castle, although Vlad only stood at Bran while he was a child. The real Dracula castle is Poenari Citadel. Vlad was born at Sighisoara and you can visit the house where he grew up. 3. Martisor is celebrated on March 1st, not May.
Not even when he was a child. Vlad III, born in Sighisoara, but moved with his family to Targoviste early in lfe. He might have been a prisoner at Bran, after his second reign, but it is not clear if he actually was .... his Royal Court was in Targoviste, so that would be his castle and yes, he did build Poenari Keep ...

Castle Peles is one of the most beautiful castles in the world. So far it is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Only a few miles from Bran/“Dracula’s” Castle. This is THE do not miss sight in Romania. You will not be disappointed! Been to Hearst Castle? Prepare to be amazed!
The castle need urgently refurbishment if is not refurbished in ten years time it all be in ruins. You pay full price for the ticket and you visit just 35%of the castle. Before the 1989 the castle was refurbished, after that no regular maintenance been done.
You miss the pronounciation. We are not drunkards. Capra is not anywhere. Bran Castle has nothing to do with the irish's guy fabulation. We are really friendly people.

There's 3 or 4 mil of us scattered all over the world. i moved 10 y ago but i always brought my friends from usa to visit and now they bring their friends to visit. Castle Peles is one of the most beautiful castles in the world. So far it is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Only a few miles from Bran/“Dracula’s” Castle. This is THE do not miss sight in Romania. You will not be disappointed! Been to Hearst Castle? Prepare to be amazed!

The castle need urgently refurbishment if is not refurbished in ten years time it all be in ruins. You pay full price for the ticket and you visit just 35%of the castle. Before the 1989 the castle was refurbished, after that no regular maintenance been done.

I saw Nadia's performance on TV, she had a perfect finish, I miss seeing her who may be in her senior year by now. Am a Filipino. Your video has enlightened me about the country which was seldom featured in our country social media. It is also a Christian country which is great!
