But I’m glad she met the right queens to get her drag and everything together early on. That’s all people mean I think by “old school”. And her naturally cunty personality and comebacks give her an “edge” many in her age group don’t quite get.

I have seen you perform so many times in Palm Springs! I used to watch a lot of shows at moxie/ toucans/ and other spots you always turn it out! And the fact you do these high energy performances and still have energy to be so sweet/ kind and approachable to the fans/ friends that go see you during and after the shows is amazing! I've grown up experiencing drag basically 100% through media because of my social anxiety. I haven't watched a season of drag race in years but I watch most of the content on WoW and because of the algorithm, I end up on channels like yours that give me an insight on what the performers are actually like irl. I don't necessarily go out of my way to seek it out but I appreciate how much everyone shares about their lives and struggles.
Though it may be painful to hear yourself say it out loud, sometimes we end up helping others understand that even light hearted conversations make us overwhelmed and overthink. Its important to say it out loud though because then you know whoever meets you with resistance isn't worth the pain or the thought. I've lived my whole life uncomfortable in my body but I still try to go out of my way and dress according to myself and not anyone else. Now the only person that makes me feel bad about it is me 😂
My unsolicited advice to you is to keep presenting your genuine self more often so that its implemented. It will help you and the people around understand and see you for you and not whatever you feel like you aren't/aren't anymore.
That being said, I can't imagine the added pressure of being famous.

We love you miss girl wether that’s jay or laganja. being your authentic self is such a hard thing to do in society today when there is so much pressure to attain this image of perfection, I try to remind myself no matter how much makeup I have on or anything like that the person I am is deeper then the concealer and foundation that when those things are on they don’t change me because at the end of the day I’m still me and that’s so much more beautiful then anything I could slather on top, and I believe the same for anyone. I hope you find more then just your athentic self, but I hope you find a love for the beautiful soul you have (not saying you don’t love yourself) but once you find that peace in your soul all the extra stuff won’t matter.
