Why this video is titled Disk Too Slow, while is talking about System Overload?
I had the Disk too slow message while freezing tracks, since I'm am editing a 1:40 minutes movie.

Because when I get the error it says “disk too slow or system overload”

Hey I gotta question. Why does logic say Logic Pro not working even though I only have a few tracks. It gets pretty annoying and slows down my work flow. Let me know if you have any solutions.

Hello! Make sure your I/O buffer size is set how you need it, higher number for mixing, lower number for recording/producing. You can make sure no other programs are running. Make sure you have at least 50-100GB of free space on your computer. It’s best if you keep all you your samples, sound library and everything on a separate external SSD so that it can load quickly but not take up space on your computers hard drive. (Make sure the external drive is solid state though). I also like to keep my session files directly on my computers hard drive rather than offload that to an external drive. If none of that helps id recommend freezing tracks, committing and bouncing in place, and using less plugins while producing (you can always add them back when mixing)

I try 16ch live multitrack recording without input instrument on all channel, i try record then pop up error "disk to slow". I already use ssd btw, so weird

Weird. I would raise your I/O buffer size as high as you can until whoever you’re recording can hear latency. If latency doesn’t matter, put it at 1024, this will help relieve some CPU load. Also make sure you don’t have too many plugins running while you’re recording. You can just bypass them if you are.
