I've recently bought myself the PS5, and I was thinking of getting this one, but at €70... I guess I'll wait until price comes down a bit. Played GoT on PS4 and I loved it. One of the best games I've played.

Everything from the UI to the attack indicators, the rope tied around grapple points, the stealth and parry animations. It LOOKS like they tried to recreate GoT and just put the game into 2x speed and let us have that glider we all wished we had. Does it really play that different? The enemy health bars seem a bit ridiculous compared to GoT. Why did that one dog take like 20 hits to kill? Seems like they didn't plagiarise it enough lol.

The enemy health bars are ridiculous. It's totally immersion breaking when you can disembowel someone 28 times in a single fight and they are still fighting strong. GoT had much better, more realistic hp bars where it only takes two or three good hits to kill someone.
It's almostlike this game isn't trying to be the same realistic depiction of action and "immersion" and fits more with the hack and slash genre that Team Ninja is known to create. GoT isn?'t as much of an rpg with stats that have an effect on combat either so it's not "better" at doing something this game isn't trying to do. Opinions look biased when you compare 2 different games goimg for completely different things just because their settings are similar.
GOT isn't that realistic anyway. I've performed a haiku in front of 3 mongols. And the grappling hook animation lol everytime i do it, it kills the mood.
Easily the most underrated game I've seen in years. The gameplay is really good & fun once you get it down. You do have to experience it yourself. Some just judge off graphics which aren't even that bad when you're actually playing it.

And i myself always want gsmeplay over graphics. Super graphics are awsome but if the gameplay sucks then the game has nothing to me

The only thing I dont like about the game is that since it's made by KOEI - creators of Dynasty Warriors - the feel of the graphics and interaction is like Dynasty Warriors.
For real... Why does every single enemy seem like a boss? 20 hits to kill a fucking dog are you kidding me? Some of the human enemies take like 60 hits, this is mental. How can they try to recreate GoT with a much faster pace and then fuck up the combat so badly you could cook a meal in the time it takes you to kill a single enemy?
Ghost has better visuals and art design. Nice story and immersive gameplay. Rise of the robin is more like Nioh so it has DMC kind of combos once you get good. Very fun gameplay.
I love Team Ninja but I must criticise one thing: the amount of Items we find and replace is insane. In Nioh 1 and 2 was the same. But overall rise of the ronin is a pretty good game with an amazing Combat System and Difficulty.

Well this isn't really Medieval. This actually closer to the Wild West, and Victorian era. In fact the American Civil War happens in the years this takes place. This game is about the end of Japanese Isolation, the Boshin Wars and the Meji Restoration. Which caused the Samurai to die out.
this game movement combat is bad ,its too fast not realistic ,doesnt fit for samurai concept , i expect combat more like ghost of tsushima, but this like cheap version ,also how can samurai jump to buildings like ninja lol
The animation sucks, sorry to say that. Watch what happens during parry - you teleport back like a meter with each hit. Why can't developers make good games anymore?!

If you parry and stun them. You can finish them off pretty quickly

Easily the most underrated game I've seen in years. The gameplay is really good & fun once you get it down. You do have to experience it yourself. Some just judge off graphics which aren't even that bad when you're actually playing it.
