OMG, I wish I found this 11 days ago when I was pulling my hair out trying to figure these in between "inches" 😂 I actually thought of doing this on my own and not only printed a large sheet because I can't see, I printed a smaller version and taped it on to the back of my ruler! Now my husband and son don't have to get involved and touch all my things! This is extremely helpful to MANY MANY people. A VERY needed video, thank you for making it!
I'm 72, and FINALLY able to read a ruler, tape measurer. No more dummy end, and yelling to my husband, where is 7/8s etc. This I'm printing out to put at my paper cutter. I still need a little reminder when cutting my cardstock if in a hurry. Lol Thanks for Sharing.
The things you can learn in your 70's! Thank you, Juli, for this chart and how to read it. I love how you simplified a process I thought I had conquered. You're a gem 💎💐😊
Omg! My hero!! Thank you for this and the printable to put by my paper trimmer. Roy will be happy that I won't be yelling from my craft room, "Roy, where is the 7/8th?!"
Thank you for explaining it so clearly, I’ve always struggled if anything is a 16 th of anything and 18 th’s is a real no no But feel I can tackle those measurements now so thank you.
Omg. Me too! Glad I'm not the only one who didn't pay attention in class.. I was busy daydreaming. Doing the same as others here, asking my hubby for measurement help, lmao! I can totally relate.Got a score board with 8th inch marks and the Victor Ruler which has helped me. Thanks for your video, and for the giggles.😂
Wow! Thanks for doing this! I did not realize there were so many crafters who have an issue with these measurements. Although I do understand those outside the US having difficulty. I’m okay with inches, eights, sixteenth but I need to make something like this for centimeters as there are a lot of great videos on YT that use cm’s. Thankfully I have a ruler with both inches and centimeters but a magnified version for cm would be helpful as well. I never thought about doing that. Thank you again for taking the time to create this and for the great explanation.
Great idea to have the blow up, I’m from a metric country and you guys mention your measurements it gets confusing, I will say metric is easier but then I’ve been using it for years. But I’m glad I stumbled upon you channel as this will come in handy ❤
I have a printout similar to this that I’ve had for years. It is probably the oldest thing I have in my craft room and I absolutely make sure I always know where it’s at. I’ve misplaced a lot of stuff in my craft room over the years but never this 😂
Trop cool!!!!
I am french too, but I really prefer to use your system for measurements. (Did you ever try to measure a quarter of a millimeter ? 😂). Thank you very much for these clarifications. 😘🌞
Connie Stewart, another SU Demonstrator, showed the exact same pdf with these ruler measurements three months ago on her RUclips channel, perhaps you should have mentioned that
Lol, its crazy. Im fortunate to be married to a carpenter who can read all kinds of measurements. So he does all the cutting for me.😂😂 But, I am trying. 😅
I can figure out the fractions all right but my problem is for some reason I can't get my paper where it needs to be so when I cut it I'm cutting it right. To save my life I can't use my cutter and it's a Fiskars ;and it's like okay if it was like my scoreboard, I have used that like crazy but I hardly ever use my cutter. It's not the measuring if that makes any sense is where to put it when you cut it that part that goes underneath where the blade is to cut,for some reason I cannot get that right , thank God for scissors!
Thank you, I doubt you know how many people you just helped. thank you thank you thank you
Oh that's awesome! Thanks, Dawn!

I flipped it and renumbered so it’s a replica of our SU trimmer!
That is such a smart idea, Mary!
Thanks! I’m fine up to eighths…but make so many mistakes beyond that!
@@Mary-el3pi The lines are so tiny, so it is easy to make mistakes!
I really need this !!!!
OH great, Elizabeth!
@@SunnyDayStampingI tried to download it but it gives me a error
@@ElizabethGonzalez-ii4fj HI Elizabeth! What kind of error are you getting. It is working on my end. Can you try using another browser?
Thank you 🙏

I'm trying to understand what you mean. So if you line up your paper on the line...like 5", when you cut it, it is a different measurement?
the link does not work/ (page not found)
Oh thank you so much! You are right. I appreciate you catching that for me.
Thank you 😊
