Here to acknowledge Naomi's growth over the seasons. Her technique has not always been the strongest on the field, but her poise in the stands has been absolutely incredible! Hopefully, all of the remaining girls come back next year. Very strong crab class. Congratulations!

Looking back, I think the sponsors was already thinking about having Herb as captain for her 3rd year like they did with KP. Bayou classic, the rising seniors and dolls entering their final rip gets to lead a song. They didn't do that here. However; they did the final home game seniors leading for Cavi though.
Great video it was amazing to see the new dolls progress throughout the season. Kyre was solid as a leader & pulled through the hiccups. Although we didn’t get to see anyone else lead, those individuals were nice at the end. 💙💛💙💛💙

21 bout to be a huge problem next year. Like fareal. My only regret is that this will be both Haley and Naomi’s 4th rip and I’m a huge fan of the 2 year captain. Something about that second year brings the fire. D’Tara, Kala, Danni, Airielle. They came for blood their 2 captain year. Great job Kyre. You did your thing and did it well. You and your sister held it down for your fellow 20 sisters. And if I’m not mistaken, we only have 1 girl left from 21 right? Unless any of her other sisters try out again. All in all, this year was amazing. I really really REALLY hope that 23 crab class can finish all 4 rips together. Other than 18 (Cam and Airielle) we haven’t had a crab class to finish together since 10 (April, Bea, and Gelly). Ok lol I’m emotional now. But you are right. 17 did finish together. That dang covid robbed us of a sick year cuz that 20 crab class was a monster. I hadn’t seen a strong class like that since 15 with that many girls and heavy hitters. Even Mel as a late bloomer (stands only) turned out to be a monster.
Haley still has her crab sister Naomi but she is a senior. So it’s unclear if she will be back next season or not if she doesn’t graduate this summer. If Haley does get captain next season she may be the next 2 year captain. She’ll be at southern for 5 yrs, she’s a nursing major.

Since I have been watching them perform every since their Homecoming Game I would say that this is the Best Dance Team throughout the entire HBCU Nation and since I had realized that Kyre is a Senior and every time I hear her beautiful voice I get emotional like I am going to shed tears If I could do anything I would give the biggest hug and tell her "Congratulations Beautiful you deserve everything that you have dreamed of Kyre every since I was 4 years old I have always dreamed of Marching in the Band and Becoming a Band Director since my crush had passed away I have been wanting to give up and quit but watching your videos and hearing your beautiful voice has been telling me 'Don't you quit keep thinking about that quote that Coach Eddie Robinson keep telling his football players The will to win the desire to succeed the urge to reach full potential these are the keys that will unlock that door to personal excellence' although that I never been smart in School and never made good grades and other students would bully me I had realized that they are are jealous because I have something special inside of me that they can't take away and I want Kyre to know that I will always be her friend to love, support, and care about her and who will always protect her from danger and if I never get the opportunity to attend college but I will join the Marching Band and become a Band Director and I know that God has something very special planned for her after she graduates from college and become a beautiful young woman in the Future and She will always have a very special inside of my heart forever.
