Zealand going from South Africa to the Netherlands actually linguistically makes a ton of sense. In game Zealand Shannon definitely would be proficient in Afrikaans and now he can use his Afrikaans to figure out his way in Dutch.

Apparently Dutch people can understand much more Afrikaans than Afrikaners can understand Dutch, so maybe there was more understanding one way until he learnt Dutch!

@@samuelhuff4489 idk about that, maybe more "proper english" but that would be like saying some Americans speak better spanish than some chileans. But in these countries fans tend to appreciated when coaches of their football teams make an effort to communicate in their native language.
Fun fact: Out of the last 25 promotions to the eredivisie 22 returned to the second division within 5 years and NAC breda had the second most promotions in dutch history.

I'm in chaos mode with my Sporting CP save. I have like 9 million wonderkid forwards but I'm absolutely cooked in defense if I can't hang on to Diomande and Inacio.
@@BENFICAMACAUCHAOPAKKEI looks like Bayern want Inacio and they basically gave me an offer I can't refuse. I loaned out like 70% of my young forwards, the issue now is to make sure I have enough first year senior players (FYS) for registration purposes. I could probably sell a couple players who are dead weight which could open up the chance for some of my U23s although it's weirdly kind of a crapshoot to figure out which player is an FYS.
Sadly Adaptability has been broken since FM20 apparently. It doesn't matter what you do your adaptability is stuck with what you originally make it. So in journeymans like this its a 1 or 2 basically. Which makes it really hard to get jobs in new countries.
I'm doing a Pentagon chellenge where i have already won the Asian cup with Gunma. Won the J2 and J1 leagues there. And won all 5 domestic trophies in season 1 with the Orlando Pirates and then repeated it and added the African Champions League season 2. Now I've won the Argentine 2nd Div with Temperley and am top of the premier in season 2... Adaptability still 1and i have a continental pro license.
But every time I've tried to get a new job I've had jobs i should be favourite for turning me down for interviews.
the reason Uldrikis is not getting called up in game for Latvia is because he doesn't appear to be that good in-game as an AF, in which we have other options (Krollis and Gutkovskis) - one is in Italy and the other one is in South Korea (!). Uldrikis really only fits if you're willing to play a TF. I'm coaching Latvia in my save this year on the side and I often leave Uldrikis out because I simply have more fitting options up front (with Gutkovskis scoring 15 in 28 for me since I've taken charge)
Crossing in to Uldrikis is like the San Antonio Spurs lobbin the ball to Wembanyana every time....
Your experience with NAC Breda was exactly the same experience I had with FC Emmens including the negative transfer club bonus. Honestly didn't feel it was too bad on its own. The bigger issue for me was Emmens also had a debt to pay off that was going to stifle the gains from all sales. Gave it a go for a second year and missed Europe by a single game. Bolted for recently regulated Stoke City.

The multiple pen thing reminds me of a game I played in where due to an incompetent ref and diving oppo we conceded 3 pens. Ironically I saved the only one of the three which was legitimately a pen, and we won 5-3
About the de Graaff-Story.
Till last season there was a player called Nürnberger in the german 2nd division club 1.FC Nürnberg (engl.: Nuremberg).
Alongside Handwerker which means like craftsman or artisan so Nürnberg had the best names in the 2. Bundesliga

The awful thing about the negative transfer model that I found in my Oostende save is that no matter how well you do year after year the negative balance just gets bigger. Even though the value isn’t too high it can still be annoying
Happened to my Ajax save, had 100 million pounds left from the transfer budget last year, 200 million in the bank, next year a negative 20 million transfer budget..
Someone needs to explain the finances section to me , how do I have 200 million in transfer budget but 120 million in the bank …

i am turkish and the stadium burning was not for relegation. it was for a title lost in the final game of the season. in the final moments of the game, fans in the stadium was deceived by the announcer in the stadium: they were told fenerbahçe the champions thanks to a late goal in their title rivals' final game but it wasn't the case. when they found out the truth, instant celebrations turned to sudden chaos and fenerbahçe fans tried to burn down their own stadium because of disappointment and frustration. the police forcibly removed them from the pitch, clashes ensued and they even attacked the cars in the streets and so on. the title-winning team was bursaspor, they were the first team to win a turkish title in around 30 years from outside of istanbul. title-losing team was fenerbahçe. they are one of the two giants of turkish football with galatasaray and one of three grand teams of istanbul, including beşiktaş. i am a galatasaray fan, we were not part of the title race that season but that day was one of the most fun days of my life. it was incredible.
I'm wondering if the youth expansion is the cause for this glitch? Almost seems like the game calculated your losses for the year but didn't factor the gains. I reset my save two weeks ago after the same thing happened, reverted my save back a few more and opted to not expand stadium. After finishing the year my transfer budget did not go into the negative, it stayed as it should. Would be interesting to review your finances to see if that is what occurred..

He gets individual ones as well. But you can change those settings when you go to Scouting > Scouting Centre > top right there is a settings cog wheel where you can change things around (and also an Advanced option to really go deep into it). Or somewhere around there in Scouting for sure. I don't have FM in front of me right now.

For some time now. Cannot be heard on Twitch VODs either, it is only when he is live when the stream is on. He decided to use different music which would cause copyright strikes if recorded, as he wanted to switch it up a bit. So, it is only played live but not recorded for the VOD. Even if you rewatch the stream on Twitch, you won't hear it.

what the hell is a 'Negative transfer budget business model'? I have never seen it.
New feature with FM24 and the possibility to have a negative transfer balance. Basically it forces you to sell before buying, to make sure you don't overspend, that is you actually make a net transfer profit. Seems to be especially common with Dutch clubs in FM24 as they need to sell to stay alive as in real life, as I understand.
It is a bit bugged though, as people report that they get negative transfer budget even with huge money in the balance, when it doesn't make sense anymore.

It fuckin annoying feature. I dont understand how it works. I sold like 4-5 guys from main squad for Cercle Brugge after getting 3rd like 2nd time in a row, got 70 mil, was positive on transfer budget money beforehand.
Then 20+th June came in, new season mark - they took everything and put it into the balance instead of transfers, they locked my transfers on -4mil again.
So I needed to sell again, which was not the problem cause I had like 50+ loans by this time, but still its annoying - forced me to use wonderkids from youth academy right into the next season, although I wanted to wait a bit with that.
@@grigoriikulikov2532 You probably have to adapt a bit. Use your still available transfer budget before the season turns over, then you get hit with the negative balance, start selling only at that point and afterwards start buying again. It is kind of logical but annoying as it is different to what we are used to, but that is also kind of the point, it is a new and different club philosophy. But SI surely needs to fine tune it as well.
