I had the same problem too. I read other comments on other videos with people having the same problem. You just have to log out of iMessage and log back in and it appeared.

What if you have a shared account. How would you then stop them from seeing your private info

If you're forwarding messages to an account that you share with someone else, they'll be able to see those messages.
