Hi Lexi, What did you noticed as an improvement since you started using the Current Body eye LED mask? I know that you use Auteur skincare and I am interested to hear your thoughts about this brand. If I buy from Australia is very expensive and I would like to know if it’s worth it. Is Calecim or MBR (Medical Beauty Research) better? I am after a highly effective eye serum/cream for fine lines and wrinkles and a face serum/cream to improve collagen and elasticity. I can’t tolerate retinol and all derm or skincare influencers recommend retinol/retinal over the counter or prescription. Thanks for sharing!🙂
So I took a break from the CB mask while I was testing the auteur and calecim eye creams. With auteur, I noticed all around moisture and plumper skin. Things just look healthy. Calecim really helps with the droopiness of my eye skin and increases the firmness but it is a moderate moisture level so for those with dry skin, it won't be enough imo. However, I can see visible results pretty quickly with the Calecim and it's probably the most effective eye cream I have ever used for firmness. I haven't tried the MBR eye cream. The LED mask seems to help with the whole area reducing the fine lines and increasing firmness on a longer basis. With the eye creams, once I'm not using them, my skin seems to go back to normal more quickly than it does with the eye mask. I think it all depends on what your main concern is and what you are likely to use most often. I like to use the Calecim eye cream at night and sometimes I will apply something with more moisture (like the auteur) on top and I use the auteur during the day. I think if I were you, I'd start with the Calecim eye cream. If you like that, you may want to try their serum for face and/or the mult-action cream. Another serum that is really awesome for the face is the Auteur line serum. I use it sparingly but it is a good face serum.

Yes! Definitely be careful. I also just bought a supergoop powder for my hair for spf in addition. I haven't tried it yet but it seems kind of like a dry shampoo with spf. My scalp burns pretty easily but the sprays are so greasy so I bought this to try as an additional layer of protection when I don't have a hat on.

I am definitely checking out that Yuzu candle!! A gift I like to give is that often your local independent bookstore has subscriptions or book bundles you can gift -- friends/family get the double gift of someone else curating their next few reads and not having to find the time to actually go to the store to get the books. Unrelated, looking forward to hopefully hearing your thoughts on the new YSL & Sisely balms!!
I just read that Williams Sonoma had to pay a big fine for falsely advertising where their products are made. Might explain why the tong quality changed?
Lexi, nice to see some of your other faves besides makeup 😆. Really like the candle warmer great idea. I don’t like when the candle burns uneven. Was wondering how the eye LED mask works compared to the whole face mask. I have the whole face mask and neck & chest one. Pretty soon my whole body will be covered 😆. I have couple of the Eric Javits hats great for protecting the head & face from the sun. I saw the comment you left on dry hair product with spf. Would love to hear how you like it does it work and does it leave white residue in the hair. Fun video you should do more in the future. 😊🌺
I will let you know about the hair powder after i use it. The led eye mask seems to have more lights concentrated on the eyes so it is probably a bit more effective there but if you are using your full face masks regularly then it probably isn’t a huge difference. I have a hard time using the full face one frequently enough so three minutes while brushing my teeth it’s much more doable for me.
