My toxic trait is believing I can make this and pull it off in the first attempt.
It is a more complicated project and full of details. It's completely normal to make mistakes sometimes. We had to redo this entire cosplay 3 to 4 times until it worked, it took 1 month longer than we planned. I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

Do you have any templates for the helmet or how do you measure the size of the parts you need? great cosplay btw, im planning on making it but i'm currently confused at the measurements and how big should the parts be

Just search for a moterreductor and a 9v battery, and connect them together, you could also add a switch

Então, esse cosplay específico eu não consegui fazer moldes certinhos e por isso não sei bem as medidas exatas 😭 isso porque fomos fazendo ele do zero, e os moldes que fomos desenhando no processo, foram alterados e ajustados no EVA depois. Meio que fomos "montando" ele aos poucos, sabe?

Infelizmente não, os moldes que fiz foram feitos à olho no papel, e depois fui ajustando as medidas no próprio EVA. Então não tenho os moldes e medidas certinhas 🥲

I'm sorry, unfortunately I don't have the right templates to make available 😭 I was making the patterns from scratch and when I switched to EVA I was adapting the size, so the patterns are not the right size 🥲

I tried to make many times with 3v motor, with bearing or making structure like real chain, but all failed.(the chain never moved.)

This cosplay is really complex and we also failed several times until get it moving. We used a 6v motor, and it worked fine. Using a stronger engine might be better too. Here are two videos explaining in detail how I made it work! (You can enable English subtitles):

The patterns we created were made on the spot and then adjusted onto the EVA foam. So the size is not right 🥲

Você pode achá-los gratuitamente na internet. Eu não disponibilizei o molde pois eu acabei fazendo esse projeto aos poucos, adaptando as peças ali na hora da confecção. Então não fiz um molde certinho. Futuramente penso em refazer, com direito a moldes e tudo mais 🥰

Eu não tenho os moldes 😢 quando eu fiz fui desenhando as partes ali na hora e acabei não criando um molde, me perdoe por não poder ajudar 😭 futuramente eu pretendo refazer esse cosplay com os moldes direitinho, mas até lá, acredito que você consiga encontrar alguns moldes parecidos na internet 😊
