    helpful tips thank you!❤ I will be sure to try this with my next pair. Sadly my current pair are far too gone and im sure they would fall apart if I get them wet lol. For now I use dollar store foot powder to keep the stinkness on my dying pair more tame. I really wish TOMS made a more durable model designed for people on their feet all day. Waitressing kills a pair of TOMS fast. 😢

      Girl, I know what you mean ... maybe replace the insoles with new ones will prevent the stinkiness? Hope this helps and thanks for watching! :)

    it is necessary to have culture and know where everything comes from.
    the 2 main thefts in summer shoes.
    1-flip flops from Japan
    2-the alpargatas originating from España

      It looks like they have some tweed around it compared to TOMS.

      Maybe try it again the second time around? Or maybe it needs to soak a lot longer... Thanks for trying and watching my video! Let me know how yours turn out and whether it's just the same result. :)

    How about tips for black TOMS? Mine are dusty looking from working in a warehouse:(

    • @LittleGirlBigWorld
      @LittleGirlBigWorld  8 лет назад

      +Constance Mote Hi! For black TOMS, but you can definitely follow every step except adding the bleach part. If your toms are still faded due to the sun or old worn out material, you can spray paint them black or use black fabric paint, or even try a different look by using bleach to make a tie-dye pattern on your shoes! Hope this helps!

    • @constancemote3718

    Where did you get your insolr

  • @hamstergirl2531
    @hamstergirl2531 7 лет назад +3

    But if they are fake the soles come out

    • @LittleGirlBigWorld
      @LittleGirlBigWorld  7 лет назад

      Hm, I don't think mine are fake. If they are, my sister gave all her bridesmaids a pair of these and it came in the TOMS branded box as well. It would be awfully troublesome to find new branded boxes with authentic tags on them just to put a fake pair of shoes with TOMS labeled soles in there as well. Either way, fake or not, these were really comfortable and I didn't mind if the soles came out :)

    • @aufajohan9528
      @aufajohan9528 6 лет назад

      Little Girl Big World yeah well your sister gave everyone a fake toms. I bought both original and fake to compare (and because I was being cheap the 2nd time around lol) Most of the writings in fake toms are in yellow whereas the original is in white. The soles in fake comes out but not in the authentic ones. There are a few more differences you can search up online. The logo is different too, from the word O in the word TOMS

    • @KiwiVlogs

      I literally just got them today after ordering on their official webshop and the soles come out. I did get the vegan ones, though (so the soles are not leather). I don't know if that makes a difference.

    • @TheEmeybird
      @TheEmeybird 6 лет назад +3

      aufa joe that’s definitely not true. I buy directly from the Toms website and journeys (a verified seller of Toms) and the soles come out. The reason I know this is because I normally replace my soles with gel shoe inserts.

    • @evec6751
      @evec6751 6 лет назад +1

      eventually if they wear out enough the soles will come out

    Tommy Hifiger copy the SPANISH ALPARGATAS. THEY ARE NOT CALLED TOM THEY ARE CALLED EN EUROPA. EVRIBODY KNOWS THAT THEY ARE A SPANISH SHOES. SUMMER IN SPAIN AND BUY THEM THERE

  • @albaida8539
    @albaida8539 4 года назад +1

    Those cloth shoes are not tom. Tommy Hilfiger copied them. They are Spanish ALPARGATAS. They are 4000 years old. ALPARGATAS is the Arabic transcription.

      The TOMS I have has no tweed around it and rubber soles. I think they look similar but they are somewhat different. That's just my opinion.
