My late dad and I spent many a wonderful day in Largs in my childhood. We would go out on fishing trips on a wee boat called ," THE GIRL IRENE," which would depart from the seafront directly in front of that big red church / cathedral ?. ❤
Rhys, It's an amazing place to be, we have loved every moment that we have been here, the countryside is amazing, hopefully you'll fall in love with Scotland like we have.
Have been to Largs many years ago for the small sailing boat World Championships, it's so funny that for the first day, the race was cancelled due to strong wind, the second day the race was cancelled because of no wind.
Wondering what the prices for the journey are, what the facilities on the trains and ferries are like. A Google search suggests the ferry trip lasts about ten minutes each way, is this accurate or does it vary with weather conditions? Good to see some sights signposted locally, it would be useful to see more of Great Dunbrae as it looks very peaceful and pretty.
Thanks for watching, prices vary a lot but we found if you book ahead you tend to save a bit, the facilities are passable and the ferry ride is unbelievable and weather does have an affect but the best way to find out is go there and enjoy like we did.
A great video, I enjoyed it a lot ,thank you
Hey Davidd, thank you very much, we certainly enjoyed it too, cheers Kay & Craig

It’s a de facto Communist State. Great country if you like that kind of thing.
