Fives was a good man even if he tried to save the republic from destruction at least he saved ashoka and rex and fives was a true soldier and a good friend to us
Arc trooper 5555, Fives, his passing is the most saddest scene in the clone wars series because we saw his life from his training at kamino (technically the rishi outpost was the 1st appearance but lets start with kamino) to becoming an arc trooper with echo up to nearly exposing palpatine as the sith lord pulling the strings resulting in his death before he could reveal the truth. Its sadder at the time knowing that he was the last of the domino squad to fall and that squad all looked out for their brothers and stands up for them more. He'll always be remembered as a true soldier of the Republic.
This music was also used in Season 3 Episode 1 when a secret is passed to Ahsoka by Master Even Piell. But it's so much sadder when used with 5's death.
The Overwhelming is this . . . Amidst this moment in a circle you see those troopers surrounding their fallen comrade...their brother, lost in confusion not knowing completely what to think happened, and in the middle, the future being who'd bring the entire Galaxy to heel! Knowing that THAT being genuinely cares bout what's happening in this moment and the friend he lost! Knowing everything you know makes this intensely emotional and powerful!
I beat the campaign of the Republic at War mod in Star Wars Empire at War. The sadness of the song; coupled with the fact that this song plays through the map menu, and the weight that tens of thousands of clones died under my command, many dying to try and save their brothers in arms on the ground and in space or buy them time while relentless droids attacked... It actually felt painful to finish the campaign; because so many clones gave their lives taking the last ball of rock and dirt, just to finish off an already crippled separatist army. I made the droid army pay in blood and oil for every clone they killed.
