I put my 400k Unlimited X-Men in room 5 like you recommended. I used Phoenix in place of Dazzler because I don’t have Daz unlocked. I got 3 defensive wins. They used IW twice (the first was combat canceled). Because of this placement, I won my match.
Good advice about UX in room 5 - gave me something to think about in the most recent crucible (especially since I haven't built UX yet outside of Rogue so I couldn't mirror match). But I can say that there is at least one other very common team that works against them AFTER you do one sac team that can survive through Rogue's stun. There may be others - the key is to do that sac, because after that they are very beatable. And I have enough on defense, including Darkhold, that I typically win my matches (I'm ranked a couple hundred spots higher than you, not quite free to play but a dolphin at most), because they've got to do at least one sac as well.
Thanks! I'm going to try some of these today. My grouping is starting to see some folks with Dorammu, and I havent beat DD5 yet, so I need all the help I can get.

Room six, left to right I have Zemo, Doom, Shang, Cap Sam, Emma. It has been able to beat infinity watches and some other heavy hitters (like Eternal hybrids). Not consistent, but often enough for me to keep them there.
I consider myself a mid-game player (TCP 8mil) and I got back to the game 3 months ago after almost a 1,5 years out, so I'm missing a lot of new meta teams. I'm trying to take my best teams on offence (YAV, BO, UncannyX, Asgardians...). On defense I'm only betting on H4H room 4 and Wakandans room 5 to make the work and for the time being I'm doing pretty good (recently got into platinum league). I would love to have all these teams, but I'll probably consider Unlimited-X for offense too! 😁
I have my Dormammu in room four instead of Elsa. It normally takes people 3 hits to deal with it. Haven’t seen it done with less than two hits yet anyway. And that was with a g15 baby Dormammu. Just took him to 7 star in between crucibles. Also in Diamond.
I ran baby Dormamu AxMen (G16 Jubilee and Beast) after failing to clear it in a few prior matches. They were one shot by 8W with modest punch downs. Hoping that big Dormamu holds better this week.
I mean with unlimited xmen and infinity watching or mirror being the only real counters then if you have both of these they have to make a hard decision if they’re willing to use infinity watch on dorm axmen
I am rank 29,045 and I just had the first Dormamu in my group(I do not have Dormamu), but I did not play that person because they won round 1 and lost the next 2 and I lost round one and won the next 2. My room 3 has tripped up 5 of every 6 people the last 2 weeks with Rogue, Gambit, Bishop, Jubilee, and Beast.
does room 5 bonus even work? In my last CC I had someone beat my 755kweb warriors with a 780k infinity watch. If it doesn't stop IW from functioning, what good is it?
I’ve decided to change it to see if Kate bishop getting more energy made any difference. I had the old placement for like months though and it also works. Going to see anyways for a bit otherwise I’ll go back
👈 Day 120. 2.1 Million TCP. Have my 7 _Ultron_ and several _Legendaries_ . _Gold_ League. Absolutely hating it. Lol. I've actually managed to win a few overall events due to opponents not attacking as I have no Defense set. As of late I'm going 1-2 or 0-1 more often than 3-0 or 2-1, I'm not going to be able/willing to set a good Defense for a while so I call it a win if I can clear all 6 Rooms regardless of what the points say. I wouldn't mind dropping down to _Silver_ I'm actually kinda hoping for it while still trying to do my best to win my matches in _Gold_ . Cheers
Moved Unlimited Xmen to cosmic room 5, and it worked like a charm. They couldn't defeat one toon in 3 matches, Great advice !!!

Safeguard lets them function they wont get speed debuff till its gone
Do you mean immunity? It prevents debuffs. You are saying it prevents speed bar reduction too?
Just tested in war practice mode. Used MLF special to remove speed bar from all of them through safeguard and immunity.
Switch your YA placement back. Only one toon gains energy.
Try putting Emma over else in room 4 it significantly lower what they can use
would Dr strange heartless speed be reduced if I put him on defense in Cosmic catastrophe?
