Photo's I do the paper towel method inside a zip lock baggie with a heating pad turned to low in a dark cabinet. My auto's I just put them into their for ever pot with pre-soaked soil with a lite mist of water every 12hrs until it sprouts. After it pokes through the soil I will cover the sprout with a shot glass and lightly mist the water around the glass again every 12hrs. I don't like the water to touch my auto seedlings until 3-4th node. So after they out grow the shot glass I will cover with a solo cup during watering. This also forces the roots to seek out the water instead of watering the area around the stalk.
I drop the seeds into a shotglass until the tap root appears and then straight into soil. Keep it moist with humidity dome until seedling pops up. After a few days remove dome and only water the seedlings when dry. I transplant my autos. Just have to be careful not to disturb the roots. Whatever works for you. Happy growing all! 😁👍🌿
ive had immense success ( probably 95%+ ) by dropping no more than 3 seeds at a time into a single cup of spring water by either poland spring or zephyrhills, waiting until they sink to the bottom which is generally 18-32 hours, and then moving them directly into the paper towel method to finish. once taproot is about half an inch, maybe 3/4 i then place into final pot with a freezer ziplock bag that i pre mist placed ontop of the pot taking it off for about 3 minutes 2 times a day and re misting and placing back on. do this with autos and photos love your videos guys, been watching for a while and finally subscribed today should have earlier! and congrats on the house!
Soak in warm clean water for 24hrs, plant when tap root appears, and you're done. I've never lost a seed. Peat plugs I've used with a lot of success to but they're less effective. I water them every day unless the substrate is already moist - you get a feel for moisture after a while, it is a learned trait. I transplant once and I use small pots/solos/anything that holds enough substrate - doesn't matter since it's going in a bigger pot once established. Congratulations on 10k m8s 👌
When germinating I soak the seed until it sinks, in a glass of water. Then I sterilise a cloth (not paper towel, its to easy to over water or underwater a paper towel). Put the soaked seed in the cloth, the cloth in a zippy. Zippy, cloth and seed on a heatmat set at 20°C. I fully saturate the medium before putting the germmed seed in. This means I don't worry about dry pockets, air pockets. It also means I don't need to water for the first 10days. Placing it on a heatmat, under light until transplanting. When the produce seed they dry them. This puts the seed into a dormancy, soaking the seed before germination allows for even germination. Sometime, especially with auto (due to the ruderalis) the seeds can go into deep dormancy and will need 4-5weeks in the fridge to break the dormancy (stratifaction). I transplant autos, any plant will get transplant shock if you do it badly. To avoid shock, try transplanting in the evening/ start of dark period...this means the plant can adjust without the sun/electric sun frying them. Add microbes and mycelium to the roots when transplanting, this reduces transplant shock. The last thing I would do is spray with seaweed solution, the hormone boost will help.
Yeah guys the first time I did Autos I done it in the deep water culture and it went off its head. Huge plan. Soak seeds for 24 hours in a cup then straight into Rockwall deep water culture the way to go love your content we need to see more.
Drop the seed in a shot glass of water and when the taproot is almost as long as the seed itself then plant seed side up obviously. This has been successful for me however im very new to this. I'm a novice for sure. Thats why I watch you guys! Thanks for the vids
I just toss the seeds in room temp tap water in a cup and put them in a warm dark place. The cup of water never drys out and I've always had 100% success rate with germination unless it was a bad bean. Then once I have decent size tap roots I plant into a small jiffy square pot with mokoko coco amended with Gia green 4-4-4 4 tbsp per gallon, and about a cup of worm castings. Toss a little mycorrhizae in before you plant if you wanna help give it a jump start. Then I toss them after planted in a little propagation dome for cuttings and most and keep humidity high till they pop. I'm confident with this method you will be able to germinate in any medium including rockwool and peat pucks. Keep up the videos guys
Straight in water method actually works. No longer than 18 hours tho. Or they drowned. And if they sink they might be a dud. Tried and true method. Followed by paper towel to further growth. Thanks guys I learned alot.
I plant my seeds right into a starter pot; Keeping it moist under a humidity dome. I use peat plugs rehydrated in an aloe solution to stimulate root growth. Usually takes about 5 days. I tramsplant after about two to four weeks into final pot, coating roots with "Great White". I waterr in with "Recharge". pH at 6.7. Yes I grow organically.
I soak a rock wool cube for a day, put a seed in the hole and cover the top with rock wool . I keep it in a humidity dome. When the root comes out the bottom I plant the cube in my final pot. I have used paper towel with great success, but the cube method gives the seedling more stability when planted.
I run autos and always start in a solo cup over time I started using fox farm seed starter for the seedlings and for water I mist the soil morning and evening and keep a dome on until the seed pops. My issues start in winter when my inside temp drops to around 71 and then the heat mat comes out and I have to make sure my water and media is up to temp as well. I transplant into 5 gal bags with living soil at 14 to 21 days.
I soaked the seeds in three to one distilled water and hydrogen peroxide, seeds popped within 24 hours, go straight into soil in Solo cup with a dome with 100% success rate. I transplant after second node into 3 gallon soil. Just harvested Purple Kush amazing colas. Using my 2x4 as a drying tent keeping humidity down below 60%. One week and things are looking amazing. By the way this was my first grow in 45 years, just my thoughts from the guy in Tucson
I used to use a propagator with the peat moss plugs, but now, I plant directly into my 3 gal pots in my tents, so from seed to harvest. Works best imo, as I do only auto's and the first 21 days are super important imo and planting directly in my soil works best.
Do a side by side without the dome. I bet the dome less seedling will be stronger and healthier. It's one of those bro science things you see way too many people repeating. Domes are for plants that don't have roots yet like clones. Seedlings already have roots.
Great information Cmdr! Domes are used to create a micro climate for your seedlings or clones. Helps keep the humidity high. I clone domeless as my veg area RH is never less than 60 %
Drop in a glass of room temp distilled water for 24 -36 hours. Then plant in whatever medium your using. I keep moist with a mist bottle until true leaves appear. Then i use the weight method
Oh yeah. I also add either gibberilic acid or hydrogen peroxide, just a drop or two. Also 24h is more than enough imo Once the seed drop to the bottom of the glass, it's ready. With fresh seeds that can happen in as little as six hours Out of cca 50 plants i germinated this way, only had 3-4 that never popped
I've had good success by soaking the seeds for 12-14 hours. Then the wet paper towel method in a warm dark spot, I usually get a tap root within 24 hours. To the solo (or yogurt) cup with some damp potting soil, typically get sprouting in another 24-36 hours. Then after 18-20 days, transplant into a 3 gallon cloth pot. I always rough up the roots and sprinkle on some dry Myco when I repot and it seems to really help them get jumpstarted in the bigger pot. On the current grow, I topped a Zkittles OG from Barneys Farm and it has gone completely nuts. Two big main colas with buds all over the side branches, cant wait to see them fill out. Very interested to try topping again on the next grow after seeing this. Congrats on 10K!
I also kick in my microbial life with recharge about a week before transplant. Keep it moist; Can't let my microbes go dormant or even die by letting them dry out.
Basically what I do I germinate my seeds in a moist paper towel that I put inside a sandwich baggie for humidity and I set it on a heating pad in a dark closet then I fell a solo cup 98% filled to the top with my soil Then as soon as I see signs/female White hairs I’ll transplant into a 3-5 gallon pot For the duration
The best results I get is when I drop the seed in a glass with a inch or 2 of bottle water then place in the dark till the tap root come out or it at least crack open then put in a thick paper towel and damp it then put it in a zip-lock bag blow in the bag and seal it place in the dark and magic happens if u already have a tap root this will only make it bigger/longer .
Take some sandpaper roll into a 1/2 inch tube rough side in, drop in seeds shake for 1 minutes, helps brake down the outside of the seed, drop in water 24 hours they should drop to bottom the paper towels in zip lock bag congratulations on 10,000 💨👍⚡🔥😎🧨🎯 peace guys
I use solo cup with soil. Poke a hole in soil with finger about 1/2 deep. Drop a seed in hole and cover. Water well and leave alone under low light. Find that they do not need any more water till seedling gets going good. Pick cup up feel weight, if light water and if heavy leave alone.
I saw a lot of germination videos where they sprinkled cinnamon on the damp paper towel to help with moisture retention. Love the videos, can't wait to grow my own when I have the space.
Cinnamon also works great as a root hormone, keeps away pest and disease, its a tree bark so it makes sense. When I am cutting some of the leaves and lower lower stems I put cinnamon on the wound to shut and protect. Turmeric is alike cinnamon too.
Floating on the water in a shot glass they push out tap root I don’t sink them. They almost always have a half inch root. In 3 days. I also add a few drops of H2O2. And plant root down and wait until it pops out the soil.
I start with the seeds in a little shot glass of water 💧 24 hours sprouts a tap then just put it in a peat moss pod. 100 % success so far, only have 12 plants so big time newbie. 🤙😉🌺
Guys you need to open a retailing web page where you make everything or put your brand on things, it would be ausom to show you guys his loyal some growers can be, but on a plus note it just makes RUclips sence to have something more than free information guys, you give us enuf input for free and a lot of us are still learning, but me persanly I'd just love to have a sneek peek in your growers diary, much love from the UK guys
Oh like highigan.com 💚 We workin on it! Channel members get videos and tent updates not public on youtube! Its a way to help support our content and get some extra cool stuff! Appreciate ya fam! Jump on our discord to we are sharing grow pics and chatting with everyone!
I think I have guys, and iv got to be very truthful here, if I had my own grow diary I'd be so secretive with it, but hell I'm heading to the web page now thanks again guys much love
Just drop em in water, wait for a bit of taproot, then I plant in peat pellets. Once they get they're first leaves I peel the fabric holding the peat pellet together off (carefully) so it holds its form. I then directly plant into pots with the medium. Had problems in the past with roots getting burnt from medium being too "hot" just dropping directly into medium. The peat provides a nice barrier to the medium and lets the roots get established before hitting those nutes. Use some myco around the outside of the peat to give the roots a boost, not needed, but it helps later on with nute intake. Granted, this is with pre-amended soil that I add some perlite to. Then just top dressing from there till harvest. Just wanted to say you guys have some great content, keep up the work.
I used to do the wet round cotton pad method but the taproot would get stuck which was a stresser. Now my foolproof method is 30 hrs in shot glass with a couple drop of hydrogen peroxide. in my last 2 runs 100% success of the husk opening and root exposed without having do to paper towel step. then into a solo cup which is always 100% Happy Frog, the best for seedlings.
I remove the dome after about two weeks, around the second set of true leafs.; Once the roots reach the bottom of the pot, or the leaves grow past the pots outer edge...Time to transplant.
I put my seeds in the dirt, then transplant when the 2nd node appears, I keep the medium moist daily, and I basically mix together a super soil and keep humidity high until week 2, I started 16 blue dream and 2 year ones, today is day 44 and I have granny Smith size flowers that look like their covered in frosted sugar, plants are 4-5 ft tall, and my blue Dreams are auto fems from ILGM they are 🔥 and like I say have 2 layers of trellis stacked💪🏻🤘🏻💯😁
I use a hydroponic cube. First i soak cube in water with microryza? added to water. Then i put the cube in a filled 3 gallon fabric pot. I place the sead into the hole in the cube and slightly cover hole with part of cube fabric. This eliminates the fear of the sead or young seedling getting sloshed around when watering and eliminates the germinating in a towel. When i water, i mist the cube. This eliminates watering whole pot when seedling. Then cover with clear plastic lid. Usually pops in 3 to 4 days. Then usually water 1/4 cup water daily. Keep my dome on until 3 inches tall. Success rate 21/22. Just started
I stick my finger deep into the prepared pot. Fill the hole with worm casings. Set the popped seed on the worm dirt and cover with the regular soil. The tap root will decide which path it likes the best. This is my current experiment. It's going great so far.
I like to soak my seeds in a cup of water with a couple drops of h2o2 for a day or two until the seeds pop and you see a tap root. Then I throw them straight into my soil or coco I’ve even done rockwool or root wise cubes but usually soil and you should see the plant come out of the dirt in anoint 48 hours. As soon as you get a sprout put a hunidity dome on for the first 3 or 4 days then open the vents for the next three days and some off and to the races after that
I grow photos and for sure transplant mainly for the nutes in the fresh soil to avoid too much feeding. Solo cup then to a 1.75 gallon plastic pot for a couple weeks (1 dry amendment feed at day 10) then to a 3 or 5 gallon fabric pot. Happy Frog for the solo then Coast of Maine Stongington blend soil/extra perlite for the pots.
I use shot glass with bottle water. Couple drops of hydrogen peroxide. One they drop to bottom I put them in paper towel that is wet with recharge. Put them in cabinet till a 1/4 inch tap root. I use 2 cup method clear cup to see the roots place in a red cup.
A hack for the paper towel method to solve the issue that you described is to use a brown paper coffee filter. Put the seeds in that and then in the paper towel.
I’m just starting to do root riot cubes with a dome with autos so far 100% germ. once the roots develop I plant them! No more worrying about overwatering.
I use a paper towel & put it into a baggie then in a dark place for about 48 hours. If it's an auto, I plant into final pot. A photo, I up-pot a few times.
My humidity dome is smaller than my starter pot, and has about a half in space between them. I never touch the humidity dome once it's placed. I water lightly around t paremeter of the dome forcing the roots to reach for the water.
That was quick you guys. 10K, sheiit. Papertowel method for me, wait until it gets about up 2 inches or more. And protip to put the papertowel ziplock on top of a heat source (cable or distv power box works so good if you leave it on 247, it stays warm) Also a heatingpad at any store is well worth it (make sure its not too hot but just right about 75F) Most people are just doing the RO water glass method until it sinks, then they are ready usually. Papertowel method always works, and I fill the ziplock like a balloon so it has co2 and oxygen in there for a the day (reballoon it daily or 2 days tops)
Too much water will ruin your papertowel or soil.. super small amounts like rain is all it needs. I drizzle pure RO 6.0 pH water with my hand onto it, real slow.
We do the drizzle! I have been doing paper towel and into a meal prep container, it keeps the humidity up and set that ontop of our tent where its dark and warm and its been working well! Unless they grow into the paper towel then its operation time 🤣🤣
I just put them in glass of distilled water for 48 hours then sow directly into soil. I've tried peat pods in the pass but I notice the plants roots don't do as well
I soak my seeds in water for two days until the tap root shows its self then i get two plastic plates and paper towel i put the paper towel on a plate and pour the seeds and water on the paper towel i cover the seeds with the paper towel and then i cover the paper towel with the second plate once the tap root is bigger i plant it in its forever home
Marino squirt a couple drops of hydrogen peroxide and soak a few hours longer (30) and the taproot should be exposed, then go right to solo cup to avoid stressing the root in the towel. Also never go longer than 48 hours soaking in glass, it will drown and die.
I plant the seeds straight into an 4 inch cell pot. Put a little bit of water around the seed and place in a dome with a heating pad and a T5 light. Usually they pop in 3 to 4 days. I get about a 95 percent germination rate
Great video! I go right to soil in a degrade-able cardboard cup and put a clear plastic cup over it to hold in the moisture. Then keep the soil and cup moist.
New to indoor growing and autoflowers but have a few seasons outdoor under the belt here in MA(photo periods). You guys have helped me figure a few things out. Did the shot glass to paper towel method then straight to a 3 gal pot. 4 days in soil so far and things are looking good, temps range from 70-80 and same with the humidity (75ish-80%). Will be decreasing the humidity as they age. As for watering I just give them a little spray each day/as needed just to keep some of the soil moist. Just wanted to say thanks again for all the helpful tips 🙌
We scaraf (spelling?) our seeds prior. Which is using a file to sand down a thin layer for easier popping. I like to plant directly in soil myself. I hate the tap root in the paper towel! Lol But TwizTD sticks with the paper towel. So far I would say my soil seeds are 90%+. My paper towel rate is more like 75%. I will give a spray bottle spray or a couple drops of water until she gets a bit thicker. 😉
🌲CONGRATS ON 10 K GUYS 🌲 Soaking seeds in water until they sink is always a good start. I love your cat. Same model as mine 😂 Little Blacky is a cat that I rescued. Anyway ....... I just harvested Cafe Racer ✌️and an old skool skunk... The Church. Very happy with both strains ✌️ I just germinated the potent strain Blueberry 🌙 Moonrock. Soaked the seed until the tap root showed then I placed in a grow wool cube that's been soaked in 6.0 pH water for 24 hours then I place this on a heat mat in a porcelain bowl if room temp is below about 18 degrees Celsius. I only grow photos and transplant at 2 weeks.....then at 1 month and flip straight into flower and BOOM ! READY TO TRY AUTOS 🙂 So that's how I do it 💪✌️🙏
I put my seeds in soil in a 5 gallon clothe pot. and i cover them all with plastic wrap. when they come up I take the plastic wrap off thats for my auto's
All of my plants that I start directly from seed I start them outdoor. My indoor plants I start from seed I germinate them in a plastic bag and a paper towel, and sometimes I mix a little aloe water up and drop the seat in and wait till it pops. Then immediately transfer into a solo cup of soil
I do the paper towel method in a covered plastic container in my closet that has a heated floor. When the taproot appears I plant in a small 2” pot or solo cup. Also someone told me not to use clear cups as roots don’t like light…I don’t know for sure if this is a myth or not. I really try to plant it before the seedling is 10mm. The long taproots can sort of kink and this does not grow a good seedling. I leave it there until the top set of leaves is wider that the container width then to 1 gallon and eventually to the final size. I try to use the same soil recipes for all stages (except for germination which is an HP mix). When I water my seedlings I use a squeeze bottle of ph’d water as I find it easier to control how much I give. I also mist. But never overwater. I never top my autos. The strains I tried this on did not grow as nice as the untopped ones. I found it delayed them and they never caught up to the untopped ones. And I do not like peat pots or jiffy peats. I find a nice light soil works better and encourages root growth better. If I’m using bottles nutrients, I start giving nutrients at 1/4 strength.
New research by Bruce Bugbee (president of apogy instruments, and professor studying cannabis) shows that seedlings can use strong light. Even 2000 PAR!
Wow thats crazy! I want a par meter so bad for testing and data, they are pricey tho! Someday when they channel isn't costing more money to run then we make maybe we can swing one! Or maybe apogy with sponsor us🤣💚 Happy friday FLOWAH POWAH! 💚🙏
Cut a one inch square of two ply paper towel, peel towel apart, place seed, moisten with water & a touch of hydrogen peroxide(for more oxygen) place in one or two inch zip bag & set in a warm spot. Doesn't need watering, ziploc retains moisture. Set it & forget it method.
I plant my seed directly in the soil medium. Moist my soil with distilled water. And cover the soil then lightly spray over it. And I’ve had about an 80% success rate. I germinated with paper towel to a slightly higher rate tho. So I’m not sure what is the better method tho
We have still be using paper towel method, we find that if they don't pop in a paper towel then they usually don't end up making it anyways so it's a way to weed out duds without having to pot them, wait and find out after the fact.
Scuff the seed shell, soak for 12 hours, straight into a solo or nursery pot until it sprouts. Transplant as soon as I can see roots poking out of the bottom of the soil into 3 gallon. Then transplant into a 7 or bigger day of flip. That's with photos though.
Iv had a very good success rate with paper towl method, but as I'm experimenting with cactus seeds and hemp seeds, if found the seeds thats don't take, if you grind them up damp or dry will give a very good start to any seedlings, but there is a hitch to this and it will take alot of time for what ever plants you grow to adapt to new nutrients
I dont grow solos all the time but every time i grow them i go from solo to final pot. And i alway top at least once and i personally haven't topped more than twice
I never transplant autos. In my experience it was worthless. I never use a dome. I keep my garden as simple as possible. I’ve noticed over the past couple years. Folks like to make growing complicated.
I just soak in ph water for 24hr and then just plant in seed starting soil and cover with a baggie and wait until it sprouts after that cut the corner off the baggie and wait until first true leafs and remove the baggie and water with ph water as needed
@@Highigan for best results put a heat mat under the seedlings once u put them in the tiny lil red solo cups cut the bottom off yeah if they don’t pop it’s bc they ain’t any good. Cheers
For veg I water till runoff each time….I’m in my first grow (so not an expert) but I watered 7 times and I veged for 2 months. Also I transplanted 2 times (happy frog foxfarms) one time into 1 gallon pot and the second time into a 3 gallon pot. This made so that I didn’t have to feed nutrients as often since the soil was fresh and packed with nutrients…..I believe I fed once during the whole veg stage.
@@stangcobra592 I don’t know…because I’m a new grower….but I can tell you what I see. What I see is….a plant that went beast mode, a plant that didn’t have any deficiencies, never had issues with pests, never had issues with overwatering….responded well to training. The plant looked happy even with that little water. It just wasn’t asking for more water my dude. End of the day I have 3 robust large plants that are in day 3 of flower….now the plant is asking for water more frequently (every 6-8 days)….but it is also a much larger plant so it makes sense.
Ive always done the paper towel method. Sometimes in a zip lock/sometimes a plastic container. Works great

Agreed, 100% success rate so far with this method

Do a side by side without the dome. I bet the dome less seedling will be stronger and healthier. It's one of those bro science things you see way too many people repeating. Domes are for plants that don't have roots yet like clones. Seedlings already have roots.
Love that! We are gunna try it! 💚💚
Interesting point. Will try that! 😁👍🌿
Great information Cmdr! Domes are used to create a micro climate for your seedlings or clones. Helps keep the humidity high. I clone domeless as my veg area RH is never less than 60 %
I NEVER Dome my seedlings. Clones need it though
Drop in a glass of room temp distilled water for 24 -36 hours. Then plant in whatever medium your using. I keep moist with a mist bottle until true leaves appear. Then i use the weight method
Thanks for sharing
Oh yeah.
I also add either gibberilic acid or hydrogen peroxide, just a drop or two. Also 24h is more than enough imo
Once the seed drop to the bottom of the glass, it's ready. With fresh seeds that can happen in as little as six hours
Out of cca 50 plants i germinated this way, only had 3-4 that never popped
O yeah and congratulations on 10k yall! 🥳🥳🥳
strait into the soil😀🌱
@Mark Lynn - How often are you feeding when in solo cups ? What kind of nutes are you using ? Thanks
I also kick in my microbial life with recharge about a week before transplant. Keep it moist; Can't let my microbes go dormant or even die by letting them dry out.
good idea! droppin knowledge!
Wow this video and comment section is a gold mine of info! Thanks y’all!
That's what we were hoping for! 🙌💚
Paper towel method sandwiched between two plates. Once tap root exposed into organic soil in solo cup. 100% success.
solo cup are awwsome for seedlings and clones
I like it! Thanks for sharing fam!
Sounds like its working great for you! We gotta try the shotglass! Sounds like alot of people having good results with it!
Thanks for sharing!
I'm using a super soil. How big are your pots and how often to you water and do you feed them?
@@gilbertlafond4419 I use 5 and 3 Gallon pots, usually once a day thru veg and every other or every 3 days for fruit cycle you?
Great tips fam!
I like to use wicking trays for photos and for autos
I stick my finger deep into the prepared pot. Fill the hole with worm casings. Set the popped seed on the worm dirt and cover with the regular soil. The tap root will decide which path it likes the best. This is my current experiment. It's going great so far.
I go straight into a mini solo pot with a plastic see-through cup upside down. And keep the cup moist for high humidity
direct to soil is my go to now sow cover wet wait. k.i.s.s method, and so far soil is easiest to just plant and forget.
Thanks for sharing
I like to soak my seeds in a cup of water with a couple drops of h2o2 for a day or two until the seeds pop and you see a tap root. Then I throw them straight into my soil or coco I’ve even done rockwool or root wise cubes but usually soil and you should see the plant come out of the dirt in anoint 48 hours. As soon as you get a sprout put a hunidity dome on for the first 3 or 4 days then open the vents for the next three days and some off and to the races after that
I've been using jiffy Pellets for years
I grow photos and for sure transplant mainly for the nutes in the fresh soil to avoid too much feeding. Solo cup then to a 1.75 gallon plastic pot for a couple weeks (1 dry amendment feed at day 10) then to a 3 or 5 gallon fabric pot. Happy Frog for the solo then Coast of Maine Stongington blend soil/extra perlite for the pots.
a big CONGRATS on the 10k guys
I use shot glass with bottle water. Couple drops of hydrogen peroxide. One they drop to bottom I put them in paper towel that is wet with recharge. Put them in cabinet till a 1/4 inch tap root. I use 2 cup method clear cup to see the roots place in a red cup.
I put right in soil in solo cup with baggie over it keep wet spray keep warm
A hack for the paper towel method to solve the issue that you described is to use a brown paper coffee filter. Put the seeds in that and then in the paper towel.
brilliant! Def gunna try that!
Thanks for the tips fam!
chamomile tea for me is great for breaking seed dormancy
My humidity dome is smaller than my starter pot, and has about a half in space between them. I never touch the humidity dome once it's placed. I water lightly around t paremeter of the dome forcing the roots to reach for the water.
That was quick you guys.
10K, sheiit.
Papertowel method for me, wait until it gets about up 2 inches or more.
And protip to put the papertowel ziplock on top of a heat source (cable or distv power box works so good if you leave it on 247, it stays warm)
Also a heatingpad at any store is well worth it (make sure its not too hot but just right about 75F)
Most people are just doing the RO water glass method until it sinks, then they are ready usually.
Unless they grow into the paper towel then its operation time 🤣🤣
Direct to rockwool cube. Good germination rate if the seed is still vital.
Have never tried but we are curious!
I also use solo cups and i transplant my autos after one to two weeks into the homes
I just put them in glass of distilled water for 48 hours then sow directly into soil. I've tried peat pods in the pass but I notice the plants roots don't do as well
I soak my seeds in water for two days until the tap root shows its self then i get two plastic plates and paper towel i put the paper towel on a plate and pour the seeds and water on the paper towel i cover the seeds with the paper towel and then i cover the paper towel with the second plate once the tap root is bigger i plant it in its forever home
soo happy you guys have grown so much in the last year! ive just started my first tent grow and am loving it! i gotta save up for a hoodie!
jiffy pot's and put into final pot when the roots are nice :)
Awesome fun video! I drop my seeds in a shot glass to soak for a day. Into the paper towel she goes in a old lunch meat container
Solo cup for 3 weeks then into a 1 gal. I use photoperiod and mostly clones but I do the same for seeds (veg solo, 1 gal , 3 gal) ( flower 5 gal)
Dab droppin knowledge! Thanks fam! 💚💚 TGIF!
Marino squirt a couple drops of hydrogen peroxide and soak a few hours longer (30) and the taproot should be exposed, then go right to solo cup to avoid stressing the root in the towel. Also never go longer than 48 hours soaking in glass, it will drown and die.
Congrats for hitting 10K. Comes as no surprise at all. You guys are going to do really really good here on RUclips.
Congrats Guys. Enjoy watching 👀 your journey in growing. And watching you Grow.
Thanks so much fam 🙏💚
I spray them mist them really cup over some times
New to indoor growing and autoflowers but have a few seasons outdoor under the belt here in MA(photo periods). You guys have helped me figure a few things out. Did the shot glass to paper towel method then straight to a 3 gal pot. 4 days in soil so far and things are looking good, temps range from 70-80 and same with the humidity (75ish-80%). Will be decreasing the humidity as they age. As for watering I just give them a little spray each day/as needed just to keep some of the soil moist. Just wanted to say thanks again for all the helpful tips 🙌
Thanks a ton for the comment fam! Autos are fun you are gunna love em!
@@Highigan can’t wait to see the results, got a sour kush and Durban poison going. Keep up the amazing content💪
🌲CONGRATS ON 10 K GUYS 🌲
Soaking seeds in water until they sink is always a good start.
I love your cat. Same model as mine 😂 Little Blacky is a cat that I rescued. Anyway .......
I just harvested Cafe Racer ✌️and an old skool skunk... The Church. Very happy with both strains ✌️
I just germinated the potent strain Blueberry 🌙 Moonrock.
READY TO TRY AUTOS 🙂
So that's how I do it 💪✌️🙏
Thanks fam!

@@ozzy_fromhell by summer for sure 💯
I put my seeds in soil in a 5 gallon clothe pot. and i cover them all with plastic wrap. when they come up I take the plastic wrap off thats for my auto's
Nice! thanks for sharing! 💜💚🔥💨
Dude! Where did you get that shirt? It’s awesome!
Congratulations you two! It looks like you hit 10K!!! 🎉🥳🎊🎊🥳🎉
Yay! Thank you! 💚💚💚
Way to go on 10K guys
TS thanks member fam! Appreciate ya and happy friday! ♥♥
All of my plants that I start directly from seed I start them outdoor. My indoor plants I start from seed I germinate them in a plastic bag and a paper towel, and sometimes I mix a little aloe water up and drop the seat in and wait till it pops. Then immediately transfer into a solo cup of soil
Your both worth more...and more...million k....soon....that’s how great you both work together..
My shit is always READY
Great tips!
I wouldn't do it!
We drop our in cups of water super super easy
Cut a one inch square of two ply paper towel, peel towel apart, place seed, moisten with water & a touch of hydrogen peroxide(for more oxygen) place in one or two inch zip bag & set in a warm spot. Doesn't need watering, ziploc retains moisture. Set it & forget it method.
glad to follow the journey an learn on the way
I plant my seed directly in the soil medium. Moist my soil with distilled water. And cover the soil then lightly spray over it. And I’ve had about an 80% success rate. I germinated with paper towel to a slightly higher rate tho. So I’m not sure what is the better method tho
We have still be using paper towel method, we find that if they don't pop in a paper towel then they usually don't end up making it anyways so it's a way to weed out duds without having to pot them, wait and find out after the fact.
autos start in final pot, photo,s dixie cup, two gallon ,five or seven gallon depends on strain
i just put my seeds straight in the dirt and wait... is that bad. I've never lost a seed
Scuff the seed shell, soak for 12 hours, straight into a solo or nursery pot until it sprouts. Transplant as soon as I can see roots poking out of the bottom of the soil into 3 gallon. Then transplant into a 7 or bigger day of flip. That's with photos though.
Iv had a very good success rate with paper towl method, but as I'm experimenting with cactus seeds and hemp seeds, if found the seeds thats don't take, if you grind them up damp or dry will give a very good start to any seedlings, but there is a hitch to this and it will take alot of time for what ever plants you grow to adapt to new nutrients
great tips!
Super cool on the 10 K. Great work pays off guys. Keep it up.
Thanks so much! 💚💚
I dont grow solos all the time but every time i grow them i go from solo to final pot. And i alway top at least once and i personally haven't topped more than twice
solo fam!
@@Highigan I'm sure u knew the first time i put "solo" in that message i meant "autos" 🤣 Guess i was Highigan! 😛✌✌
strait to dirt.... but natural soil no nuits added til after two weeks
I’d recommend soaking ur seeds In bottle water water for 15-24 hrs then plant straight into soil it’ll pop in a day or two
Love it! We trying!
So you watered once every 9 days in veg? how is that possible or beneficial?
@@stangcobra592 I don’t know…because I’m a new grower….but I can tell you what I see. What I see is….a plant that went beast mode, a plant that didn’t have any deficiencies, never had issues with pests, never had issues with overwatering….responded well to training. The plant looked happy even with that little water. It just wasn’t asking for more water my dude. End of the day I have 3 robust large plants that are in day 3 of flower….now the plant is asking for water more frequently (every 6-8 days)….but it is also a much larger plant so it makes sense.
