Eerste (First) River and navigating loadshedding traffic lights in Forest Drive | Cape Town

Eerste River started off as many different farms and expanded after the 1980's, with a a population of 50 000. Most of these residents originally migrated from another part of Cape Town or South Africa and came to live about 36.2 km's from Cape Town. It has a train station, hospital and a bustling shopping centre.
