I test not only my e85 gas but also the 93, after I tested both, I adjust on that same app, I have seem more discrepancies on the 93 than on the e85 at racetrack in Florida, the e85 here is always pretty close to 85, but the 93 is all over the place. I use JB4 so is easy to jump between tunes but I like being safe and testing every week. When I have a long trip I used map 2 on 93 so I make sure my gas tank gets completely empty.

I'm not totally sure what is used for the Octane to be raised to 94 from say 89 or 91. Is it just more E85? Or is there another additive they are using to bump it up? Like are they using Toluene? (Also known as methyl-benzene) or are they just adding more E85 to the fuel? They don't state it at the pump I looked at but I guess I should check a few as I'm sure others have wondered about this. Actually I will look up that station online and see if it might be stated there.
Hello, can someone tell me if it really is ethanol analyzers when I only don't need to use E30 by calculating my tank with an OTS Stage 2 E30 map or is it only recommended for higher volumes of ethanol?
I have an issue i did e30 for the first time and i forgot to put current ethanol mix at 0 and filled it up car started to bogg out and hoped that for the second fill up should be fine I filled up for the 2nd time(half tank) and car still bogs up when i put it in sport and floor it around 5-6k rpms is it the spark plugs ? Or did i do the mixture wrong in the first place ? Or is it the spark plugs ? Any pointers or help is appreciated I also put the pump gas ethanol mixture at 0 since shellgas is 0
So if other apps wont let you put current ethanol content because they assume you come from pump 91-93.. why would i put that I currently have %10 ethanol if its my first time
Because I think other apps already know that pump has around 10 so it’s probably already calculated into the algorithm. If you feel more comfortable putting 0 that’s fine, just saying what works for me

When I fill up with E85, do I need to subtract the gasoline portion from E85? Is the app's result calculated based only on the pure ethanol content?

Yea an e30 blend should should be fine in the stock pump

Definitely an upgraded HPFP. The TU is sufficient but the dorch stage 1 or 2 is even better.
