Also, you are backing off when you jump. That ALWAYS brings the nose down. Approach a lot slower and slightly accelerate over the jump, not nailing it, but holding constant throttle. MUCH more level landings. Same on a motorcycle. Nice RZR. Good on ya'.
You know what they saw about first appearances. If I saw some dude pulling up with his tie down slack wrapped around like that I'm thinking 'noooooooob' all the way. I know it's a silly thing to even comment on, but still. That thing looks like a blast though!!
That's what I was getting at :) I remember getting quite the education on what to do about the excess from the yard foreman at an old job I had. I guess he had an issue where the slack got loose going down the road. Tire ran it over, snapped the strap, lost his load. Never want that to be me :)
Dude!! full power off the top of a super duty? so dangerous! 3:45 jump, holy crap that was crazy man! ease up their big guy, a bit o extra danger in the coffee this morning eh?
was that the big end bearings rattling on start up ... you can hear it change when the oil pressure came up.... my ole chev does it to but its done 200 000 miles ...?
She's a real beauty you are going to have a real blast look at her fly wow that is one nice machine I may have to look at getting myself one. Awesome video man!
If you chop the throttle on the face of a jump its going to fly rear end high. Stay on the throttle until the rear tires leave the ground. Changing the rear wheel speed of a motorcycle while it is in the air is how you alter the angle of the bike before landing. If you speed up the rear wheel, the rear will drop. If you slow it down or stop it, it will drop the front end. I'm not so sure how greatly this technique will work on a SxS, but its worth knowing. If your about to endo, nail it in the air. Hopefully you wont be in four wheel drive.
Thanks for the video.. Can you please tell me what the rack/carrier is on the top of your F250 that you have the XP1000 on top of? Would you be able to pull a toy hauler with the XP1000 on top? I am trying to figure a way to transport 2 RZRs. Thanks!
i think you need some better throttle control, supersized you did not land on the front bumper, that rear suspension sounds like its bottoming out every time
I bet after that first ride all 4 wheel bearings are shot, 2 cv boots are ripped, and its probably gonna start burning oil the next ride lol. Gotta love polaris!
Holy engine knock when he first started it up. That's surely a sign of what's to come. POS. Even my Dad's 12 Sportsman 500 makes sounds it shouldn't be making.
I don't think a rear suspension adjustment is gonna solve the nose diving issue this machine. Definitely not the first time I've seen them dive like this of mild jumps. It seems to me like a weight distribution problem vs shock set up, although a better set of shocks might alleviate this issue. I tried to find the weight distribution of the Rzr but couldn't find anything on it. I know the Wildcats are 40/60 and the Maverick are close to this. Wonder if the Rzr is front heavy.
Well that's not as bad as I would've thought watching this video. With those numbers your SxS is about a 44/56 weight distribution. Just remember even if you have a perfect 50/50 WD the vehicle could potentially still handle like crap if the weight is in front or behind the axles. The closer you can get the weight towards the center of the vehicle the better it will handle.
Excision It needs to rebound less (slower) not more (faster). Look at any race truck and the suspension is really soft with almost no rebound so it doesn't "bounce".
Dan Pitre I agree , I like having cvt on my grizzly just punch it and hold on haha. Hopefully the new sxs has a manual mode along with fully automatic , lets just hope its better than the honda dual mode setups
I got a notification this morning that this video went up, but when I went to try it the video was private. Whats up with this it got me all excited for nothing.
+VancouverCanucksRock no, i drive the same in my own machines...check my videos:) I know what these machines can take but also try to bring them to the edge, it's what I do, costs me money in the end but it's fun where I come from. Check my terracross vids.
You have a death wish with an 800...most 600s are ballsy enough and will outrun 800s on groomed and tight trails. You only get an 800 if you plan on doing lake runs or go up mountains. The new Polaris Indy 600 and ski-doo mxz 600 are a blast to ride.
+SLEDDERGUY1 get a mxz 600!! i would die if somebody took mine away from me! i started off on a 670 though which is an awesome starter sled and it is bullet proof!!
Looks very front heavy. It looks like it wants to nose dive on every jump and on the big ones I would be afraid of the ass end going over. I see suggestions of things you can do to help, but I think the design needs to be looked at.
its a characteristic of these machines - they can be slightly adjusted to make them a little better but its where the weight is located. the 4 seat model jumps flat.
+texasmusicfan03 Anyone who has ever even driven an rc car knows to approach the base of each jump under a heavy load meaning you let off slightly before the jump roll through it and throttle hard up the face leaving the jump on the throttle. Keep throttle going enough in the air to control your attitude so you remain lvl or slightly lower in the rear, land on the back wheel ,almost lvl. This guy is a spazz, both in how he uses the throttle and how he steers , not leaving much else that he is half assed at..
+Jack Peters RC Cars bear little weight, therefore, they're more prone to tilt back and for more, which means they rock much faster while in the air, etc. Whereas a heavier vehicle, with a longer wheel base is much harder to level out once the nose drops, etc. I have raced dirt bikes for several years and I understand the physics behind jumps involving preload and rebound with shocks. The driver in this video let's out on the throttle way too soon causing the nose to drop. Even an inexperienced rider can figure this one out.
After years of sporty motocross in the club and national competitions I know exactly what threats threaten when a vehicle is very nose-heavy. In the video this is also good to see, and a surplus can cause serious injuries.
soften the back end so it doesnt push up so hard for ramp take-offs. you'll jump way further without nosing over so much.
Seems like the rebound cranked up too.
+Stephen M Ya I was going to say wow that thing really like to nose dive.
+Stephen M maybe letting off the gas also makes it dive more.
Some but shocks play the biggest role
+Stephen M Actually, that's all throttle, if you stay in the gas, they don't nose dive.
3:41 best commercial for RZR's right here.
Louie, you are so going to flip this thing lol.
Also, you are backing off when you jump. That ALWAYS brings the nose down. Approach a lot slower and slightly accelerate over the jump, not nailing it, but holding constant throttle. MUCH more level landings. Same on a motorcycle.
Nice RZR. Good on ya'.

+TinPinFTW No slack in those straps, slack in the excess though. Superclamps aren't installed yet - they will be on the new deck thanks for watching!
That's what I was getting at :) I remember getting quite the education on what to do about the excess from the yard foreman at an old job I had. I guess he had an issue where the slack got loose going down the road. Tire ran it over, snapped the strap, lost his load. Never want that to be me :)
As a former tow truck driver you use a little help in the tie down department, just saying
Dude!! full power off the top of a super duty? so dangerous! 3:45 jump, holy crap that was crazy man! ease up their big guy, a bit o extra danger in the coffee this morning eh?
Drive it like a fucking rental i guess
Yes awesome! Rear shocks definitely need to be softened though.
was that the big end bearings rattling on start up ... you can hear it change when the oil pressure came up.... my ole chev does it to but its done 200 000 miles ...?
The Driver has no fear he has the guts and the Balls to wreck the 2015 polaris rzr 1000xp !!!!!
She's a real beauty you are going to have a real blast look at her fly wow that is one nice machine I may have to look at getting myself one. Awesome video man!

good you went back and reposted this, the first time there 2min of audio but the video was stuck then came back fine...
Thanks for the video.. Can you please tell me what the rack/carrier is on the top of your F250 that you have the XP1000 on top of? Would you be able to pull a toy hauler with the XP1000 on top? I am trying to figure a way to transport 2 RZRs. Thanks!
+OneWayofLiving yes you can pull a toy hauler with the deck on the truck - it is an Armor Deck by Armor Truck Decks.
Such a beautiful side by side, what kind of money?
No way are those jumps intended for a RZR hah. Those are definitely motoX jumps, you're a mad man!
havnt watched you since i first got a snowmobile awhile back
Hopefully the new shocks fix that horribly bad nose diving! Followed oem break in procedure perfectly lol
It seems as if it is a little nose heavy. How would you correct it if necessary? Nice machine.
I new you were gonna gun it, but... Not before ya even touched the ramps! Lol you know your excited when...
*Love The Break In!!*
_Cant Wait To See More!!_
Thought that machine came with walker evens shocks from factory!?
Stay steady on the throttle before the jump. Letting off at the last second is causing the nose diving.
i think you need some better throttle control, supersized you did not land on the front bumper, that rear suspension sounds like its bottoming out every time
I bet after that first ride all 4 wheel bearings are shot, 2 cv boots are ripped, and its probably gonna start burning oil the next ride lol. Gotta love polaris!
where did you get that flatbed system to hold that Razor? What's the name of it?
Where can you find a helmet like that? Getting one of these on Wednesday, def need a helmet
Thing looks like a lawn dart lol. Staying in it will keep the nose from diving so much. Short ramps will do that though.
Its pretty easy to get the RZR 1000 on 3 wheels doing donuts and wanting to flip, any tips on making my RZR 1000 not so trippy?
Install a front sway bar
Nice Air! Looks like you almost roll over.
Holy engine knock when he first started it up. That's surely a sign of what's to come. POS. Even my Dad's 12 Sportsman 500 makes sounds it shouldn't be making.
When i drove one of these out in the desert they said constantly messing with the throttle like that is what kills the power train. is that true?
Took the jumps pretty well but maybe lift up the front suspension, might make it land more neutral. 🙌
why is he letting off the throttle so early? making the front end drop like deadweight
So is it yours to keep for good or do you have to work some kind of payment out with them if you want to keep it?
another thing is y its a little heavy in the front they made it a lil safer when it comes to brakeing dwn hill
I don't think a rear suspension adjustment is gonna solve the nose diving issue this machine. Definitely not the first time I've seen them dive like this of mild jumps. +30spooln
My 2014 XP1000 is 800lbs on the rear tires and 640 on the fronts, no driver.
Well that's not as bad as I would've thought watching this video. With those numbers your SxS is about a 44/56 weight distribution. The 1000 has a lot of power
He said he isn't going to go too crazy. I thought that was a bit crazy lmao
Now that Yamaha came up with a real sport side by side, Polaris must advertise their CVT's powered RZR by giving them LOL
Does anyone know why the clutch sounds like it’s chattering when he is slowing down or coming off jumps?
Ramp exit was epic
Great video, Louis! Btw you rip in that thing!
fucking crazy Canadian break-in, should be the title
The front end just drops like a brick hey, not well balanced from what I'm seeing.
+C Steele suspension just needs adjusting
+Excision That's a center of gravity issue and not necessarily suspension.
Internet Tough Guy ah, he still needs to adjust the suspenion, it's not rebounding fast enough for jumps
Excision It needs to rebound less (slower) not more (faster). Look at any race truck and the suspension is really soft with almost no rebound so it doesn't "bounce".
+C Steele stock suspension settings are shit on these..
that looks fun. I bet the price tag is bullshit though
Probably around 20k
Will you be racing at Haydays again?
Who the fuck disliked this video? Guy was full send from the ramp...
rzr1k is an awesome machine but you might want to wait till September 1st when yamaha reveals they're new sport sxs
Rumour has it that it's a manual shift with only 112hp. If your racing terracross or XC I don't see the advantage of manual shift.
Dan Pitre I agree , I like having cvt on my grizzly just punch it and hold on haha. Hopefully the new sxs has a manual mode along with fully automatic , lets just hope its better than the honda dual mode setups
+Scotian902 agreed. Doesn't matter what brand, the SxS industry is getting out of hand and I love it lol
Great job on your channel, we subscribed!
looks like the suspension works great
why didnt u just wait for the yami yxz 1000 r
Future craigslist ad says: "2015 Polaris RZR XP1000 for sale. Not abused".
Shit! you drive it like a wild horse! haha I was surprise with your unloading style, FUll speed! lol
if u give it more throttle up the jump ur front won't drop like it's been it would be up in the air more
I got a notification this morning that this video went up, but when I went to try it the video was private. Whats up with this it got me all excited for nothing.
The first wouldn't play for like 3 minutes, so he uploaded a this one
please wath is you pick up ? may be a FORD ranger? THKS
Ford F-250
Ford F-250
Dang that thing must be heavy in the front ever time he jumps the front goes down
Why does it nose dive so bad? they really need to work on that I see some really bad Endos coming up.
When jumping sxs you have to stay on the gas thru the jump or you nose dive it
Your a maniac dude! Need a case of road pops to distribute the weight or just pin her to win her.
Is that from jurassic world?
looks like the weight of the Polaris is not correct, when jumping he landed on the nose if it will jump a little higher - will turn over
Rebound is too harsh on the rear end .
How long is that deck?
Hey man, mind if I try your RZR, 3:05
LOL I am sure you only "drive more aggressively than most" when the item is given to you. Also, where is the on-board footage? I see the cams.....
+VancouverCanucksRock no, i drive the same in my own machines...check my videos:) I know what these machines can take but also try to bring them to the edge, it's what I do, costs me money in the end but it's fun where I come from. Check my terracross vids.
hey louie what sled do you recommend for me? im 13 and i will be doing mainly off trail riding and i want an 800cc

+Graham Buchan ok thanks
Please tell me where u got that flatbed?
3:01 he damn near sent that thing off the back of that truck
Looks very front heavy. It looks like it wants to nose dive on every jump and on the big ones I would be afraid of the ass end going over. I see suggestions of things you can do to help, but I think the design needs to be looked at.
no just need to play with shocks and depends on jump face a lot of the time
+jgodawa13 Sure does but not in this case as you can see it happen on every jump.
Great video !! thanks
you have to adjust the rear shocks they're kicking you up
It looks ridiculously front heavy or the suspension is just way off
its a characteristic of these machines - they can be slightly adjusted to make them a little better but its where the weight is located. the 4 seat model jumps flat.
brake in or braking prosess
How come they land in the front tires the engine is in the back so t should be tail heavy not nose heavy
+Owen Recore He's not throttling through the entire jump. That happens with anything. Dirt bikes, four-wheelers, monster trucks, etc.
+texasmusicfan03 Anyone who has ever even driven an rc car knows to approach the base of each jump under a heavy load meaning you let off slightly before the jump roll through it and throttle hard up the face leaving the jump on the throttle. asta el ecuador puedon yegar si uno pide un polaros ??
This thing is bad ass but I like being able to bail. And they outlawed 3 wheelers???? I have the nastiest Honda 250R down in my basement!
One word. YXZ!
Dude, you need to slow the rebound on the rear, this will even the trajectory
you need to post what song u use man
Hitting throttle in air bring front end up too or hit brakes gas to level it out
Love It Love Love
i was dying to see this guy flip over
Hahahaha, love the way you test things out!
@3:42 that was hilarious. Glad you didn't roll
nice looking ride
how front heavey are those
is it normal for it to nose dive so much?
+welderman27 Shocks set up wrong and riding on a motocross track, on the right track they are pretty good.
+PowerModz that and you let off like a girl at the top of the jump.. lol
Needs more safety bars.
You need a little bit more gas at the jumps, or killing the throttle little later :)
Top speed?
Gwooooooo how he got of that truck
Looks a little nose heavy
was thinking the same
All rzrs are nose heavy even though they are mid engined, mine are the same way
yeah this is to dangerous.
After years of sporty motocross in the club and national competitions I know exactly what threats threaten when a vehicle is very nose-heavy. In the video this is also good to see, and a surplus can cause serious injuries.
baisik 1 fuck you
Seems pretty front end heavy, unless he's taking the jumps wrong... idunno...
Its the characteristic of the rzr mostly
@@PowerModzOfficial Ohh, thanks
Ok, rear engined, supposed to make beg power, and yet it still nosedives over every jump.
Good for you,rich guy.
Less rebound and preload in the back or give the front more preload
And this boys and girls is how to fuck up your rzr
Whats the name of the town where you bought the xp1000 ?
Ride Qc shawville
In wich province?
Ride Qc Quebec
Is powermods really in quebec? Jle savais pas :-)
no, ottawa, ontario.
Don't try this? Of course I won't, I am always wayyyyy rougher than that on my stuff lol
