I rode the Ribelle RS at the weekend. Amazing set of wheels. I own a BMW K1300 and after many years as a ICE biker, I’m amazed by how fast the battery technology is improving. Thanks for sharing.
@@MotoroxTV The Ribelle RS is fast and agile. It makes one heck of a whine as you pull away. I set it to Sport and engine braking equivalent to a four cylinder bike. Off the mark, very quick indeed. Overall, I was very impressed, especially, the potential range and performance. It handles extremely well and certainly looks the part. The Triump TE1 is due out in 2025 and by that time, the battery technology will have moved on a step, with ranges upwards of 300 miles I would imagine, if they use solid-state batteries. For now the Energica, seem to have the best of both worlds: performance and range, with a bevvy of ponies to meet most peoples needs. Yes, the K1300S is a great bike. A bit on the heavy side for sure. But, having ridden sports bikes and tourers, it’s the last of the shaft-drive sports tourers from BMW by the looks of it. In 2-3 years, the EV market for bikes will have evolved enough for sports touring and what with Tesla opening up it’s charging network, not a bother to go long distances.
@@MotoroxTV wow! Yes, 37oC where I live, with poor air quality. At one point I nearly had a moment, we’re I couldn’t breathe properly. And hence it’s time to part-ways with the last of my combustion engine habits. Change is difficult, but worth the effort. The Zero SR-S was very nice indeed. Quiet compared to the Ribelle. The ride was as smooth as silk. They just need a bigger battery I think as 14.4 KWh compared to 21.5KWh is OK, but you would have to manage the battery well. And given we know new battery technology is evolving rapidly, I may decide to hold off until next year, unless I can get a sweet deal on a demonstrator bike.
Question for you: when you let go of the throttle, you said that it slows down really quickly. Is there any flash of the brake lights when doing that? I have a habit of tapping the brakes a couple times when engine braking, because cars can't always easily tell you're decelerating and that seems important especially on a bike that is so quiet.
Well not sure? However, the Regenerative mode really slows the bike down and as such you would not need to use the brakes as much, thus making it a little bit safer downhill (not sure about a snowy hill though)...Good question!
And now we have energica experia !!!!! .. for all the people who want upright positioning !! Another step in viabillity !!!!! Try it !!!! Its not as dast as ribelle . But weightwise its magic !
Well to be honest your not wrong in your thinking. Also, this is all a new concept (EV motorcycles), however, they do seem to have a good reputation so far and i think that's due to their involvement in moto racing. But again, you are not wrong.

@@MotoroxTV yes, you will like the Ribelle RS. I’m trying a Zero SR out later today, just to see how they compare.
@@MotoroxTV I’m based in the Uk. It will be tomorrow now as I missed my slot today.

In a slope in the mountains when the road is snowy... No need of breaks in a steep slope ?

This is the best review for this particular E bike...thanks so much good Sir!
