This was something I always wanted to do as a kid. I appreciated your review, unfortunately I'm still troubled by some of the themes. We just got back from the mountains today, and just didn't feel comfortable with any indoor attractions. We loved the Pigeon Forge Gem mine and felt that the $100 bucket was a great value. Our other non-SMNP activities were the goats on a roof coaster (3 year old loved it) and the Deer Farm. A few concerns about their animal welfare (they've had to change diets for some animals due to obesity, but at least they are trying... And some animals seemed small. But it was a neat place.). We also did the smoky mountain wheel which was overrated, but our toddler selected that activity!
My daughter worked there for 10 years so I got to go a lot. Still love that place. I’ve been in every inch of that building. I still go there and it will always be Dixie Stampede to me.

I enjoyed the pre-show, so that is sad they are not doing that right now, but I do like the seating much better. I hated being crammed in there like sardines. It was hard to enjoy the show. I'm glad you liked the food better, because I wasn't overly impressed with it before, so I will try it again now. I still like the way Hatfield and McCoy's do their show where you eat before the show. It is more relaxing and easier to enjoy. Thanks for the review!

Nice review guys 👍 This is always a fun time and the meal is our favorite for a dinner show. I remember how busy the pre-show area can get, so I wish we were there to take advantage of the smaller crowd size. Definitely a great venue for families🙂

We went to Dolly Parton's Stampede in Branson a few years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I loved the Dolly Parton Stampede! I went about four years ago.The food was really good I thought.Im hoping to return to Pigeon Forge next summer and yes,go to the Stampede again.I also miss Miss Lillian.
It was nice to see you two in the gift shop after the show! When we told our girls that we saw you, they screamed with excitement. Haha I was the one in the "under new management" shirt.

I guess now you can stick a fork in the pre-show, it is done. Get it...Now they give you a fork and the pre-show is not happening....Get it? Always a job well done Will and Dawn.
The last time I was there it was called the Dixie Stampede. It still looks like a fun time.
We will be heading to pigeon forge soon. So I was wondering seeing out of all the dinner shows which would you recommend if you could only do one.

I went to dolly patron’s stampede in Florida and it was an amazing 🥲 show and the pre show with the banjo 🪕 was the best.
That was a lot of food. Can you get takeout boxes for leftovers? The show looked enjoyable.
We've been 5 times. Food is always Awesome and the show is wonderful. A must see. I've only been to the Branson show though.
The buffalo make me feel guilty because I get the bison burger at feasters. Great review. I used to sneak a plastic spoon and fork in to eat with. Show looks a little watered down but still looks very nice. Thanks guys.
I definitely need to go to one of the Dinner shows in Pigeon Forge, a friend of mine has been to Dolly's Stampede and loved it. Need to go while they still have the forks to eat with. Great video as always.

Always a great show. Have been to the one in Branson also. The preshow was always so enjoyable. Hope they can bring that back.

We’ve been to the stampede quite a few times, both the regular show and the Christmas show. I was wondering if they still had the final competition at the end where everyone passed the flags from one end of the theater to the other.
A really great show. We were fortunate enough to make the Christmas show once. Highly recommend it.
Eliminating the pre show is not exactly a bad thing. When we went last June... I personally could not stand being packed into that pre-show. After surviving the pre-show, the rest of the experience was great.

The Branson show is very similar and so is the food. We had a great time at that show and would do it again

Our family has always enjoyed the food and show at Dolly Parton's Stampede. We have been there many times over the year. We love the creamy vegetable soup. It is always served pipping hot. The rotisserie children has always been tender and juicy and never dry. I believe the rotisserie chicken has always been my most favorite part of the meal. I agree with Will that the Christmas Show is my favorite. We haven't seen it in a few years due to the weather. We live in the mountains of West Virginia so it's hard to plan ahead due to our changing winter weather.
There still having the show?
Nice they provided utensils for the food. Last time we went they absolutely refused to give us even a plastic fork to eat our food with forcing everyone to eat with their hands. My wife ended up wasting her plate of food. While the show was good, that was a terrible experience for how much we paid. I don't think we will ever go back after that experience.

It has been many years the last time I seen that show and for me it is a new show. Also I got mad back the because I didn't have anything to eat with. Just a spoon and knife and I will be back one day.
