You’re welcome beauty ! Btw a 13x4 is a frontal, the widest width a closure can be us 7x7 I believe.
I just recently got into wearing wigs and did not like my wig cap was slipping and I was thinking there a method where I can just glue down the top part. Cause all I saw was the bald cap methods but did not need the whole front part of my cap glued then I stumbled on your video! And it was exactly what I was looking for and worked perfectly

I’m trying to install my 5x5 deep wave wig myself like this but I’m new to wigs so if I do it like this do I use the clips in the wig under my braids ? Or do you not use them ? Only thing I’m confused on cus I feel like they would be uncomfortable if not tucked and then not secure

We never use the clips in the wigs, it will be uncomfortable. Secure the wig by properly gluing it.

How long does this stay glued to your head?
Personally I don’t keep closure wigs in overnight but it does last up to a week depending on how you maintain it.
Be cautious while washing your face, working out & how you sleep
This may sound silly, but can you sleep with a wig like this? Seeing as you’re glueing it down
Certainly can, to each their own. But the wider the width the more I'd treat it like a full frontal install and preserve it better .

Hi beauty, lace in general doesn’t last long. An estimated time frame would be 3 days - 2 weeks depending on what glue or freeze spray has be used.

The longevity of a glueless closure wig is most likely the longest lasting wig installation there is, compared to others .
Personally I can rock this look with or without glue & with out a band. A wig cap is all the grip I need 🙂 . . Personally ofc

How do you avoid the shiny look when the glue dries?
1st by making sure the lace covers where the glue is applied, Bc if there’s glue in front of the lace the shine will show.
If push comes to shove, alcohol and makeup will do the job.
Can you do a video on how you achieved the hair to look so silky smooth? Like did you let them sit in conditioner for a day. I just purchased my hair literally right after I saw your tutorial 😭😂💗

I wish I knew but I re used left over tracks from many vendors to make this wig. However I give credit to quality because of deep conditioning it with silicon mix.

Hi beauty I am using my Fenty foundation, you can find it in Sephora. As far as my closure I do not know what vendor it’s from, it was provided by a stylist

Thank you beauty, the wig is machine made by me using a 20” HD lace closure for the center.
I used left over hair from more than one company so I couldn’t give you an exact length or brand.

hey a question can put a 5x5 lace wig behind your ears? i know its a weird question but can you make it seem more natural or you have to hide with the hair? the sides

Hey beauty, so unless the closure is positioned as a side part then no it will not give it that natural “behind the ear” appearance.
A tip is to gel /slick back edges under the wig cap. Or to take some hair out to over lap the weave.
Keep in mind, the wider the closure is in size the more natural it’ll appear !

You have to sleep with the wig on? Also would 5x5 be better than the entire front?
No, I personally don’t feel like it’s necessary to sleep with closure wigs on. I don’t have clips or a band to keep the cap in place so it will slip and slide along with my head scarf while sleeping.
As far as the second question, a closure and frontal are two entirely different things but still serve the same purpose which is “no leave out needed”.
Unless you’re aiming to grow out your edges or you aren’t good with frontal maintenance then maybe a frontal isn’t for you.

The stylist who was suppose to make my wig but didn't, was the one who over bleached the closure piece.
I would like to know if you would please do a wig review and tell your followers truthfully what wigs is the best That would at least last for two years and be truthful I know they pay you guys to do the wig installs but can you be truthful and let us know truly if the wig is a good wig or not
Lol I think that’s a great idea. Unfortunately I never got paid for a sponsorship yet, and any hair sent to me so far isn’t 100% human hair.
So the assumption of every RUclipsr not being truthful because their cutting a deal with the brand is false.
Lastly, I already stated to a few ladies in these comments that this wig was not brought or given to me, it was made by me.
I do not have a hair vendor to bc I used hair from a bag of old bundles that I never used and had left over previously . So why list 1 vendor when I have possibly 3 vendors on that unit ( including the closure ).
If y’all stick to the end where I explain how I got the closure y’all would understand why I didn’t mention the vendor ( that’s bc I don’t know ).
