Good info Alex, I haven’t had any experience in smaller quicker spooling turbos and Meth, so that really didn’t occur to me, but it makes total sense. It wasn’t something I ran into on my Precision 5862 because the transient response of that setup was much slower than a factory sized turbo. My guess is the response was slow enough to allow the pump and FAV to react in time for there to be sufficient flow when it was needed. I imagine with some added control more advanced WMI kits offer, you could get a bit creative with the trip points and offsets to have that pump starting a bit sooner than you want full flow making sure it’s flowing what you need when you need it.

The transient response is always an issue in kits that don’t maintain line pressure and don’t have a pulsing solenoid for metering on the nozzle. Aquamist is the only kit that does these things that I know of. Of course we are moving more into the realm of fuel systems now and this is why I prefer MPI for direct injection supplementation to WMI. Some platforms like this VA WRX however have limited MPI options on the market.

@@stratifiedautoI was looking into the aquamist system for my fa24 which has 5 sprays, 1 in the charge pipe 4 in the runners. Am I gonna run into the same issues with the stock turbo?

Now this my concern, what do I need parts to reach the max 320hp with 330trq stock turbo. Parts a side Cobb Aps, up pipe. The tgv delete, butterfly delete like that’s works in BC?

300-320whp on a Mustang dyno can be achieved with full bolt ons and e40-e50 fuel. No need to delete TGVs.
