just came here after watching old Tige you both show border collies i have a 12year old border and having listened to both songs went to her bed gave her a big hug she's my world love her soooo much love your dog praise her and guys remember your dogs love is unconditional just like your mothers the best friend you will ever have
I no how faithful one's pet can be specially cause I had such a faithful dog called bobby she went swimming with my three son and every time they used to hold on to her tail she will bring to the bank shore or where ever I took them swimming that's why I say animals will tell us when trouble was about so always interact with nature and the beauty of our world with love
lost my dog some years ago; still miss him so much. my dads dog has my heart now, she is such a crank, but she is getting on now, will miss her when she is gone.
This makes me think of a little poodle named Alley a.ka.' little girl ' and 'the baby' She slept on the bed next to her 'daddy' She was the companion of my home care client, whos in his early 60s and had a spinal cord injury about 20 years ago.She was old, and the last few months, she was in very poor health and couldnt see well and didnt know where she was most of the time.and looked pretty scrawny. None of us ( him, his parents, us caregivers) had the heart to take her to the vet. She went to doggie heaven almost a year go, she was sleeping on a soft warm pillow next to her daddy. We love you and miss you little girl ! .

I had a dog named sheep I had him 9 years and the day he died I played this song till I had no more tears left. I still miss him and he died in 1960
I rem remember this song from my childhood - my father , who is now 95 years old, used to often sing this sad song. Thanks for the memories !
