I would cry with joy if i made 100$ with my channel. RUclips is hard, but ive had many not monetary benefits that make it worth it.

You mentioned taxes (self employment, etc.) that you have to pay on the ad revenue you received from your channels. Could you share insights into things one should know before starting a RUclips channel as a business? If you're employed elsewhere but have a RUclips as a side hustle, I'm guessing the taxes you pay aren't the same as if this your ful time job? Haven't spent a lot of time researching but would love to do a channel one day. TY ❤
I’ll do a video on this! But the tax you pay depends more on where you live and your tax bracket. Even if you have another job your RUclips income is still sent as a 1099 so you have to pay all the taxes on it. You pay MORE taxes on RUclips income because you have to pay income tax and cover the taxes an employer normally pays too. Thats true if you make $200 a month of $20,000 a month.
