All jokes aside, the entire fight is just sort of depressing, and in a good way of course.
And the part where it says "IT'S ALL JUST A GAME" really hits.

@@Funnyb0nes92 From what I can tell, blue bones only account for horizontal movement. So if you jump without moving left or right they shouldn't hurt you.
This perfectly captures the emotion and pain between the characters in music, spritework, and game play. Amazingly created!
Plus, the terrifying appearance of Papyrus as Sans' perspective changes is incredibly portrayed.

@@leroyspeeltFrom what I know (I've never played the game but I've read about the story) OFF's an RPG where you help "purify" the world while playing as someone called the Batter, except as you go through the game it becomes clear that the Batter has his _own_ idea of "purification" and has been destroying the zones you go through outright until nothing is left, seeing impurity in everyone and everything and taking it upon himself to stamp it out. At the end of the game basically only a character called the Judge is left, who at first helped before realizing the Batter's true nature and what he was doing. The Judge addresses the player directly, and they're treated as an accomplice to the Batter. That said, the Judge gives the player a choice: side with the Batter and face judgement, or side with him and stop the Batter. The choice changes the final battle, and if the player picks the latter the player will switch over to the Judge and fight the Batter, who's now represented as a monstrous bird-like version of himself (although it's debated as to whether this is his true appearance or just a representation of his inner self). The game's often compared to Undertale (although I believe it came first) for elements such as acknowledging the player's existence separately from the playable character or the general concept of wiping out everybody in the game and then coming face-to-face with a perpetually smiling judge who used to be friendly but ended up taking a last stand after seeing the your/the protagonist's true nature (although in OFF the protagonist is the main threat rather than you, and although you're held accountable for helping, you're still given a choice to switch sides when you get to the Judge, which tbf _is_ still reminscient of the "ERASE"/"DO NOT" choice, just more impactful).
The connections between Sans and the Judge have actually made them a very popular match-up request for the show Death Battle, funnily enough.

Tired of only seeing distrust getting all the attention, this fight was nice, the attacks are so good, like they are really fluid, and the last part is just the cherry on the top, the lyrics of the song appearing in the fight 10/10
Distrust doesnt certainly get all the attention. Dusttrust gets a lot of attention too. Prob too much but idk

@@Zero001LP Im fairly recent to the fandom but from what i have heard the fandom was all for sans during its early years. Other characters like asgore and alphys are starting to get attention. Also its been a while since i saw anything related to dusttrust except some artwork so im guessing its not getting that much attention.
I love how cinematic this fight looks. I don’t really think I’ve seen any undertale fangames like this. Also the music goes hard although I heard there was supposed to be more added but got scrapped which is sad.

I’ma be honest here, so sans still has his one hp. Wouldn’t that mean papyrus should still have above 680 of his canon hp? I mean, you could make the argument he got hurt in a battle but he has like 50, not really 680+

God I love the details!!! OG Papyrus elements in his attacks, the fact that he struggles to fight Sans because he's the Royal Guard and the stronger one!!! The in-characterness in such a bizarre take is so magnificent!!!! I'm so glad the new age Undertale fandom does justice to the mischaracterization of everyone
Not to ruin the mood but I noticed a little bit of the end of the music reminded me of the same thing I heard in a part of DustSwap: Breaking Point's fear. (Full Mix). Especially the "IT'S ALL JUST A GAME" part. That's actually a really interesting detail.

The thing I find most that is terrifying about this animation. This was only the beginning of sans's own sent into madness, understanding what Papyrus meant...

@@RushWheeler Pretty sure every monster or human that plays the role of Sans knows that everyone is in a game. This basically includes Dusttale and everything else.

@@RushWheeler knowing about the resets is basically just knowing about the fourth wall because reseting the timeline is only a thing that would happen in a video game, which means the person in Sans' role in Dust AUs knows about the fourth wall

If they knew who you were, they'd refer to you with a more negative connotation and never reference Frisk when they talk.
The game should branch off into 2 different routes if you die as sans the player fights dustswap and if papyrus dies then you fight dusttrust sans that sounds like a cool idea

@@dingyspy2998 dusttrust itself isn't mid the au even has some pretty damn good concepts and catchy music its the undertale fandom that turns stuff into mid stuff that is what it has always been like for example flowerfell got transformed by the fandom into a frans au even though the original creator never intended for it to be that way and said original creator got bullied out of the fandom and their au got stripped from them so basically the undertale fandom is what makes stuff become mid

Blue swapped with Orange wasn't canonically confirmed. Also, Popcorn confirmed that Underswap swaps only roles and a bit personalities, but not stats or smth
