    Thanks for a good video. It is important to note the probe was rotated 180 degrees between the "anatomy discussion" phase of the video and the "needle insertion" phase of the video.

      Was it? Orientation looks the same to me. Different patient maybe with particularly clear anatomy?

      @@birdmanilikeflying yes it was. look at where the dot on the ultrasound probe and on the screen are initially and on the part where block takes place.

    Nice work Dave! What I believe would be MOST helpful for future video directions would be use patients like MY patient population (BMI>30) and have many images demonstrating the ultrasound finding of the nerves. There are no circles and identifying labels on our ultrasound machine, so while I think that's a useful tool, it should be used very sparingly, giving mostly raw images to train our eye. thanks!

    conventionally the marker on the probe is kept in lateral position.so the the blue dot on usg monitor screen also points to lateral position. however you have kept marker in medial position ,confusing me the entire anatomy.i stand to be corrected.otherwise excellant video.
