This might be my new favorite episode. Joe is always a favorite, but I loved hearing from Jaxon & Jayka. They're both so well spoken, intelligent, & likeable & it's really fun to get some personal perspectives from them about growing up on the Internet.

I've been watching React since about the time Jaxon and Jayka were on Kids React. Literally seeing them grow up into the people they are today has been an interesting journey. From their mannerisms to their opinions on certain things. One thing that always sticks out to me about Jaxon is his unflappable opinions. With Jayka, I'll never forget how absolutely enamored she was in one episode of Kids React when they were reacting to One Direction. Her fangirling was off the charts! They are both, in their own ways, amazing people.
I've also seen them seens Kids react. It's crazy to see them grown up.

Jaxon's reaction on the puppy's videos was so pure that I wanted to hug him so bad. Too bad that his mom has allergies. I think he would be an amazing human for his animals if he has the chance to have pets.

The cast talking about their first interaction with the internet made me feel so old. Lol I remember my first trip to the computer lab, 9th grade in high school (1976) when the teacher showed us how we could print out a picture of a cat using Xs, Os and dashes.
Jayka nails it from the top describing Jaxon as an old soul. I've watched kids/teens react since it started and Jaxon always stood out to me because little kids who are old souls are so entertaining to watch. My middle child who is 11 now is an old soul and so hilarious. He really wanted to get my old NES working so he could play Mario 3 and he wanted to play it on a CRT television. We got it working and I questioned him on why he's going through all this trouble when he can play the game on his Switch. "It's got more charm this way", was his reply.
I've been watching react since I was kid. Watching Jaxon and Jayka growing up in this platform (AND WITH ME) literally made me feel old hahahah. I love watching them sinceeee day one with another OG reactors. Wishing the best for all the reactors and for this channel too 🎉

Honestly considering his age I have always been impressed by Jax’s music knowledge

I've been watching REACT for a bit so I have seen Jaxon and Jayka grow up myself. I've got to say they definitely are among my favorite reactors. Jayka has turned into a very beautiful young lady and Jaxon always seems like he's got a good brain inside his head.
This was such a nostalgic hit like the videos where it’s before and after and the reason it hits so different because I grew up with them, watching them and seeing them now talking about their past selfs and incidents compared to their mature selfs man it just feels so special 🫶, and also love the Triple J’s with Jevin lol

I really love Jackson! I can sooo relate to his opinions on content creation and being your own boss. It takes so much more to be an influencer than people realize and it's not for everyone. Whatever he decides to do, I'm sure he will be great at it!

One of the earliest videos I remember watching on RUclips was a Kingdom Hearts 2 mod where there was multiples of the same character in Olympus Coliseum (Hercules' world). I'll never forget it because it was SOOOO many of one character.
Before personal internet, for me it was either the library or my parents’ encyclopedia set.
I agree with Joe. Up till 2 years ago, I gave up having a cell phone for 7 years. It was SO GREAT!!!!!
Would love to see you all talk about the transitioning of how movies ended up starting from silent movies to musicals and to what they are today!!! By the way I am absolutely loving the React channel and this one is so refreshing . Watching my favorite reactors is so much fun!
Love Joe, own his card game and expansions. Jaxon has constantly been growing in many different ways and the podcast where he talks about his experience was very interesting. Jayka has always come across as a free spirit and heart but to hear her talk about her experience, how certain things are, and the level of situational experience was really awesome. Her arc of trying to be a hot girl, because hot girls eat pickles and how she just shrugs it off and is like I'm a hot girl is super funny. Jaxon is extremely intelligent and it can come off as snobbish but being bullied my whole life by local classmates, I don't even know what it would be like to be seen on RUclips and be bullied for being a person reacting, by both the Internet and at school. Hats off Jaxon for being you!

I'm actually impressed both of them lasted this long in React even after all the controveries. There was a max exodus of reactors during that controversy back in 2020. Lucas as well, but he was 2nd generation kids react, these two were already in teens react if I'm not mistaken.
Yea but the reactors who left were a lot older than these 2 even if these 2 been around as long or longer than those folks who left. Those who left were already college age or mid 20s now entering their 30s while Jaxon is only 20 and Jayka 21.

Speaking of famous people reacting to the reactors, I want to know if Jaxon still has a fear of Poppy. That saga was one of the funniest things KIds React had ever done, and Jaxon's fear of her just tickled me!
The first video I ever watched on RUclips was from the 5th season of AGT, and the first-ever 'RUclips Submissions' contest in August 2010 of 10 year old Jackie Evancho singing an operatic piece of music titled 'O Mio Babbino Caro'. Her voice was like that of a matured opera singer but in this tiny kid's body. My wife and I were absolutely blown away by her voice, and she ended up finishing 2nd that year. It was because of her that I started to learn how to play piano, with an emphasis on classical music, and yet I'm a rock-n-roll/metal-head!
This is why i started watching React... wanting to see these types of reactions and conversations... Joe & I are close to the same age and i remember the first days of the internet... The handshake used to sound scary and then going into chat rooms talking to random people that are still close friends to this day... love this episode y'all! (and i've been watching since Jaxon & Jayka were kids cause my friends daughter used to be on here before Nicole took over)

The first videos I ever watched on youtube were parody music by Venetian Princess and Weird Al Yankovic. I also remember watching Hannah Montana episodes but cut into 3 videos since they could only upload 10 minutes at a time. First internet experience was Microsoft Encarta on our school computer. I loved the option to tour places at POV.
I’m with Joe. I remember being on the internet in university in the late 1990’s. I got my first cell phone in 1999 in my last year of university. I would use it to look stuff up online or to shop on eBay. Life before the internet was great and a lot quieter than it is now 😊

I remember when there was no Internet & then when everyone was starting to dialing up on AOL.
I remember (Twit of) Leo Laporte showing video editing on YT & CNET, but I started 1994 with Internet through Mailbox-Systems to Universities (in my Case: From Aachen Tech Univiersity + Technical/Free University Berlin, Germany) via ISDN (paying per Minute of connection) - before the German Postal Telephone Service had (similar to the more adv. french system) a dail-in system with codes which ran partly on TV (long time used with banking).

Joes Mother’s Day video is one of the first RUclips videos I remember watching… I remember when I saw him on sourcefed I was like hey it’s that dude, and then on the react channel.

I really started watching react in highschool, that’s when I first saw Jaxon .
I think my oldest memory of using the internet when I would go on Internet Explorer to play Nick Jr. games. I think my first interaction with a computer was when my mom got me a bunch of DVDs with learning games on them.
Talking about favorite memories from REACT. Of course I'm not a cast member but my favorites were when they reacted to and played video games. The Last of Us was my favorite, for the seniors too. The 3 scenes that stick out in my mind are when Sarah got offed in the beginning, when Tess died and the rabbit clip. Many sniffling tears were shed. It seemed like the guys suspected something was going to happen and kind of prepared for the rabbit but the girls that were playing were caught completely off guard and were heartbroken. Ohhh, lookit the cute bunny! Awwww! ... NOOOO! LOLOL
That whole Bhad Babie situation was funny to watch😂😂

So yeah I was born in California in 1983. So yeah AOL was my first Internet experience. I remember corded phones and having to remember everyone's phone number. I used floppy disks to load the game Oregon trail. RUclips was NOT a career path when it first came out. I literally used it to post a PowerPoint highschool project and I thought how amazing I don't have to make a CD of my PowerPoint for school.
We had Yahoo, Yahooligans, Ask Jeeves, AOL
Yeah, I remember when Jayka started Kids React still had that pink background for the girls and the blue background for the boys. Jaxon didn't come along until they redid the set with that chalkboard-looking background.
I'm basically on RUclips every day, there's no way I could remember the first RUclips video I watched lol
The first time I checked out YT was pretty early on. Most recently uploaded videos were on a top bar. There was a video of a lady in front of a campsite that I decided to click on. It was only about 20 seconds, but she ran from the camera and leaned back into a bridge pose and started peeing on the fire. I didn’t know if I should be shocked or impressed.
it's nice the two guys who wanna just chat about internet include the chick, it's called self-awareness. if this cast was 4 guys, it would be another three hours long

Speaking as a content creator myself, I started my channel back in 2016 but didn't start producing gaming content until 2020. I didn't set out to become famous. I'm still a very small channel. I just decided to start doing what I've watched others do, just with my particular brand. While I get decent views, I don't get many comments, but nonetheless, I'm having fun creating my own brand of Let's Plays.

I figured Friday had to be from 2011 because I remember it was one of the earliest videos Kids React covered.
One thing i knew react channel (previously named finebros) was millenial teens and gen-z teens react to david dobrik, which those had a big name at that time...
I never dumped on anyone in this channel before hut I am a favortist..back in the kids react days Lucas was my favorite while Tom P was my fav older reactor. Today I have several favorites across the board. I'd say top 5 today. Jaime, Jaxon, Benny, Amber, and Trevor..the izzies are excluded because they are not ppl they are embodiments of separate human moods that all beings are subject to lol I'd love to see the Izzies in like a Charmed Remake or something maybe the Izzies and Jayka. I'd make Jaxon the whitelighter just because his natural attitude is what I'd cast as a guardian angel lol
