How to center your Durkee EZ Frames on the Brother Multineedle machines and explaining how Brother Multineedle embroidery machines know what size hoop is on the machine.
I have a Brother PRS100 and a set of the fast frames - bought both used..... How a company could sell a $400 set of frames and not give any more instructions that a single 3/4 page of guidelines is beyond me-- I am not sure which arm to use: the A or B as my fast frame arm fits both, but regardless of either one, my machine never shows anything besides a 6 x 10 or 8 x 8 and tells me to choose a larger frame when I am using my 7 x 7 largest fast frame. If you can program in a hoop size (I have Embrilliance) based on inches or mm, why can you not program in the size of a fast frame and it read it?
Hi there. I have a PR 1055 and the EZ Frames. If I have a design that is less than the 7 7/8" and I want to use the 8X8 frame, how do I convince my 1055 that I can use a bigger than 5x7? There must be a way or we would not have the 8x8. But to lose 3" on the one side? Please direct me.
Finally, someone who is validating my findings. Thank you sooo much. I have told people how to adjust for this on various Brother Facebook Groups, yet so many people comment that they don't loose any stitching space and that their Brother Machine lines up perfectly to the center. Here is a video I made a while back, on this subject: ruclips.net/video/axVfA-szW8s/видео.html
I bought the Durkee EZ Frames for my PRS100. They do not fit right I don't know if it's something I'm doing or if it is the wrong frames. I need some help thank you
Sorry but I never saw your notification that you left a message. Being it's been 5 months, I hope you got it sorted out. My only thought would be to make sure you purchased the frame attachment specifically for the PRS100 as any other brother multi-needle arms are different. Sorry again for not responding sooner, but if you still need some help, let me know.
Really appreciate you explaining this. Glad I found your channel.😊

What type of clamp do you use to hold your stabilizer?
I use a Rapesco Supaclip. It works great to hold any stabilizer on when I don't use a sticky back stabilizer.
