I don't think Patty Hearst argued Stockholm Syndrome. Unfortunately, I think it was after her kidnapping ordeal that psychologists figured out that it was actually a thing, and coined the term. I could be wrong, but I think she might have had better luck if Stockholm Syndrome were understood at her time.
