He had the $138.00 cash up front for his windscreen. Better him than me. I had the arse out of my pants at the time.
In the days before ever adverts made all men out to be mindless idiots and women to be the cool, calm problem solvers when in reality the exact opposite is usually the case.
The trend those days was quite different than this decade in the 2020s. I am really happy about this situation because we could really learn from those adverts from Australia from the 1980s.
These ads were in Melbourne too. I remember them like yesterday.
