This textbook by Davi-Ellen Chabner is EXCELLENT. As you can see in this first chapter, she explains in a very clear manner how medical terminology is put together. The book is put together very thoughtfully with chapters on terminology for specific body systems, medical specialties, diagnostic procedures, and a drug reference. At the end there is a little dictionary of medical terms and even a glossary of English terminology translated into Spanish.

i have the book medical terminology for health professions 8th edition. By Ann Ehrlich, Carol L. Schroeder, Laura Ehrlich, and Katrina A. Schroeder. These books are not the same so i cannot follow along in the book, however i haven't even watched much of this video yet and i feel it will be a good learning source for me rather than just reading! This together along with the reading i do in the book i have been assigned i feel will help out a lot. Thanks for posting!
